I recently took my Land Rover Freelander 4x4 to Wash N Vax to have the underside treated with Lanoguard rust protection, and I couldn't be happier with the service and the quality of the work carried out. From the moment I arrived, Simon was friendly, professional, and clearly knowledgeable about the products they use and the importance of protecting vehicles from corrosion. They took the time to explain the Lanoguard treatment process, what it would achieve, and how it would help preserve the underside of my vehicle for years to come. The preparation work was extremely thorough, and it was obvious they take real pride in delivering a first-class finish rather than rushing the job. The underside had been treated to a very high standard, giving me complete confidence that my Freelander is now much better protected against rust, moisture, road salt, and the harsh British weather. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. It's refreshing to find a business that genuinely cares about customer satisfaction and treats every vehicle as if it were their own. The workmanship was outstanding, and the value for money was excellent considering the quality of the service provided at a great price. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Wash N Vax to anyone looking to protect their vehicle with Lanoguard or any of the other valeting and detailing services they offer. ABSOLUTELY STERLING SERVICE. I first contacted Simon using the form on the website to request a quote for ‘Lanoguard’ application on my Qubo. I got an email with a quote and offer of free inspection so I called down the same day (Tuesday) to get an idea of when the car could be booked in, where I explained that I would be going on holiday on the Thursday and the following week. Simon offered to take the vehicle in the following day (Wednesday) and carry out the work whilst I was away so it would be ready when I returned. I must also point out that Simon has the most competitive pricing of ‘Lanoguard’ application of anywhere else in yorkshire. On return from holiday my partner and myself travelled to ‘Wax N Vax’ on the Saturday morning (Simon’s open 7 days a week, I challenge anyone to find another detailer open 7 days a week!) to collect the Qubo in my Tiguan so I could ask Simon to quote for the Tiguan to be Ceramic coated, using ‘Wax Is Dead’, as I had noted he was also an accredited installer of this product. Simon gave me a quote, including the wheels, and had availability the following week so he took the Tiguan there and then and we both went home in the Qubo. I returned back to ‘Wax N Vax’ the following Friday to collect my Tiguan. When Simon opened the workshop door the results on the Tiguan were astounding. Simon had explained the processes involved including the washing, decontamination/clay barring, and machine polishing, before the application of the ‘Wax Is Dead’ Ceramic. The results of all the hard work involved could clearly be seen as the car and the wheels looked better than showroom. Whilst there I asked Simon about new number plates as this is also a service he is DVLA authorised to provide. He asked me to choose a style (I chose ‘Retro’) from the examples he displays, which he made there and then and were fitted straight away, finishing off the car’s look. The process was completed with Simons advice on washing maintenance so I could make my own informed choices and I was able to purchase the relevant products that I wanted, as recommended by ’Wax Is Dead’, as Simon is also a stockist of these products. From first contact to the completion of both cars, the service and advice from Simon has been outstanding. My cars are my treasured hobbies and I’m very particular as to where I take them for particular services. I’ve found my trusted detailer in ‘Wax N Vax’ and Simon. Thank you Simon 👍

Went to Simon today at Wax N Vax detailing for a luxury wash for my Ford Fiesta Mk8.5 ST3 before heading to Goodwood Festival of Speed the next day. Booking in were very straight forward and Simon had good communication with me as to when to bring at. Turned up and Simon were very friendly and comes across as a very genuine and honest person who you can trust and never tried selling you other things and rip you off etc, none of that here. Cleaning took about 2 hours which may seem like a while to some but a top job had been done and can definitely tell that Simon has a genuine passion and love for his craft. Honestly when I picked my car back up it looked better than the day I picked it up, well pleased with the outcome and well worth the money in my opinion. Simon even went above and beyond and checked all 4 tyres before the 4 hour drive id be doing the next day, safe to say I can see myself returning to Simon in the future 👍

Wax n Vax Car Detailing did some minor work to front of a plastic panel on the exterior of my car. The customer service was outstanding and the detail of the work is professional. Got some Alloygators fitted here and Simon was most helpful and knowledgeable, Booking and fitting was very straightforward and was in and out within 30 min. Had a look at some of his other work whilst I was there and was very impressed. There was another car there that had just been ceramic coated and looked epic. Lots of customers coming and going and on the phone too and was nice to see how well everything was managed. Proper old school customer service, will defo be back if I need anything else, picked up some new numberplates whilst I was there too. A man of many skills 👏
