Had the pleasure of training with Sean in Scarborough today. His knowledge of detailing is 2nd to none and has seriously helped me take my game to the next level. Cannot recommend him enough! 🌟

Can’t recommend Sean highly enough. I completed his 2 day “detail what you bring” training. The amount of knowledge Sean has is incredible and more importantly he knows how to teach it in a way that’s easy to understand and apply. I came away with a lot more product knowledge, confidence and techniques/methods that I implement day to day now. The aftercare as in being there on hand for any advice is always reassuring to know you have someone on the other end of the phone. Thanks again

Fantastic training day with Sean McCartney of McCartney Valeting & Detailing. The wet and dry sanding with heavy rotary cutting course was well worth the investment of both time and money. Sean’s knowledge, teaching style, and hands-on approach were excellent. I left feeling much more confident and with skills I can put straight into my work. I would highly recommend this training to anyone serious about improving their detailing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I booked my car in with Sean around a month ago via WhatsApp. I had a quick response to my initial message and he advised me the recommended options for my Carbon Black BMW 550e. It was 18 months old with minor defects so a 2 day enhancement detail with a 5 year ceramic coating was chosen. When the day came I dropped the car off early morning and Sean got straight to work. I was constantly updated throughout that day with videos of the defects and the results after one hit on a test panel. Very consistent and clear communication which I can imagine wasn’t easy to find time to do when faced with completing a car of this size alone on a short time frame. What I never expected was the lengths Sean would go to ensure he met timescales. He worked an extraordinary amount of hours that day, with social media updates still coming well into the night. This really is testament to his work ethic and passion for detailing. The second day was mostly final prep and waiting for the coating to cure. When I collected the vehicle I was extremely excited as I had been given videos throughout which built up suspense. I arrived at the studio to Sean giving the car a final check. I can only describe the finish as stunning. He had clearly put in some serious effort; more than I could probably imagine. Despite only booking an exterior detail the interior had been refreshed and the wheels were also immaculate, something I didn’t expect given the task in hand. I am extremely grateful for his efforts and would use no one else going forward. I’ve already had people ask me who did the work which is testament to his quality and proves how reputation will secure further work. Thank you again MVD for a sterling job.

We won a raffle,won a £200 car valet service.Sean came today at the time he said,as you know if you have kids it's not easy to keep your seats clean,but with alot of elbow grease and hard work from Sean.the car looks like new inside and out.i would highly recommend MVD valeting to anyone.He is very professional and thorough at what he does.

Came in today with a beginners knowledge of detailing and valeting and left with everything we needed to know from the basics to machine polishing and ceramic coatings. Sean showed us everything from top to bottom without missing out any details and always had time for questions and went at our pace. Left confident, happy and ready to get at customer cars. Sean aswell is a top trainer and has been in the industry for years. Cant think of anyone who would be a better trainer.

Can't praise Sean highly enough. He is an absolute professional who takes the utmost pride in his work.

Just finished a whole day training with Sean and can honestly say we left no stone unturned. I’m a detailer and he tailored the course to exactly what I needed it to be and I’ve come out the other side confident, with a genuine understanding of everything he showed me and with new skills. From booking on a few weeks ago to finishing up yesterday, he was friendly, professional and engaging. He even sat down at the end of a very long day to share some tips on how to grow as a business. Can’t recommend enough, best money I’ve spent!

Having just bought a 3 year old Volvo xc90, we approached Sean for a Deep Clean package for both inside and out. He did the work at our house and the results were amazing. The car now sparkles, even under the bonnet. We would certainly recommend him to anyone who wants a quality job doing on their vehicle.

Genuinely can’t give Sean enough credit for how much he taught me in my detail what you bring day, didn’t know it was possible to learn so much in one day. I’ve never met someone who’s perfected his craft so well and so knowledgable in every single area of his craft and breaks everything down so well for you. Came into his studio this morning as a valeter and left as a detailer ready enter the paint correction game, had absolutely 0 Knowledge when it came to anything to do with paintwork and Sean showed me absolutely everything and not just skimming over things, as in depth as you can go in every area from preparation of the vehicle, to all the different polishers, different hardness of paint, pricing up work and literally everything you could think of. Even just things like writing everything down for me I need to start paint corrections and telling me to call him whenever I need, honestly what a guy man, it was a pleasure mate, thankyou for today🙌

Went on a training day with MVD and his knowledge is unreal and learnt a lot with wet sanding & dry sanding out deeper scratches. I went to Shaun at MVD for a day of advanced training and he was absolutely spot on from start to finish. Value for money is unbelievable, not only do you learn it’s on your own vehicle. He spent 12 hours in his unit with me, Very friendly and made me feel welcome from the minute I arrived, not to mention how unbelievably good he is at what he does. For anyone wanting basic training, advanced training or just an overall day on a bit of everything he can do that for you to suit your needs, I can’t recommend Shaun enough, thanks mate!

Absolutely amazing detailer with great knowledge of the industry and a very approachable and nice person to tie it all together. My friend and I booked in for a day course and loved every minute of it, we gained a serious amount of skill and knowledge and had a good laugh throughout the day🙌🏼

Fantastic sympathetic detailing on my 205 GTi Sean managed to lose all the old swirls and light scratches, paint is like glass now! Highly recommend the team.

Both Sean & Cam have done an outstanding job on my car. After recently buying my car, the paintwork was full of swirl marks, i took it to MVD with hopes they would get rid of some swirl marks. However, Sean & Cam went above and beyond which made my paintwork look better than brand new!. I would highly recommend them for all services and i will be certainly coming back when i change my car.
