Dodgy place. Will rip you off any chance they get. Staff are rude and useless

Gone rapidly downhill since new management (head office) has taken over. The post office used to be 7am-9pm however has been scaled back to business hours; this after being open for 1 hour a day throughout the summer months. These changes have had a negative effect on my business and have slowed down any plans to scale it up. Add to that, this month 3x drop & go parcels have been sent to wrong addresses having been correctly written on parcels and the sheet - this has led to a deficit of £150 for an inputting error. If there were enough staff to man this service then these errors wouldn't occur. The floor staff are wonderful and an asset to the company however are frequently let down by head office in terms of both leadership, guidance & communication.

Hi, We regularly use this BP petrol station for our company vehicles, and because we have around 8–10 vehicles, we visit quite frequently. Overall, the station is good, and most of the staff are friendly, polite, and professional. Unfortunately, there is one female member of staff whose customer service is consistently very poor. She never greets customers, doesn’t respond when customers say “hello,” and never says “thank you” at the end of a transaction. She always appears to be in a bad mood and comes across as rude and unwelcoming. This isn’t just my experience—many of my colleagues have had exactly the same experience with her. In fact, whenever we know she is working, we try to avoid stopping at this station and will often go elsewhere for fuel if possible. Good customer service doesn’t require much—simply greeting customers, being polite, and thanking them goes a long way. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, as the behaviour of one staff member is affecting the experience of many regular customers. Today date is 16 July 2026 and I filled fuel around 1 pm in case if management wants to know about staff member. Thanks

Not running around to save pennies..

Went to get fuel today and left absolutely fuming I had to witness an older man yelling and totally disrespecting an older lady this is totally wrong nobody should have to put up with the way he was not her or customers it was so wrong I have left a review before about how cold the shop is and nothing has changed it is still colder in the shop than outside I also noticed some days the fuel prices go up twice in a day there are lots of problems that really need sorting

Very poor experience at this petrol station. The shop was freezing cold, which made it uncomfortable to even stand inside while paying. What was worse, however, was the behaviour of one of the male staff members. He was speaking to an older female member of staff in a really disrespectful and dismissive way right in front of customers. It was genuinely uncomfortable to watch. Customers shouldn’t have to witness staff being spoken to like that in the workplace. It gives a very bad impression of the environment and management. Basic respect between staff should be expected anywhere, especially in front of the public. Overall, not a pleasant atmosphere and definitely not somewhere that left a good impression

Lady on till really helpfull everytime i go in but that shop is freezing ive been in a few times when visiting family who live across they say its always like it as they use it every week There uniform should include a hot water bottle and thermal gloves I wouldnt want to work there been freezing all day

Standing there waiting to pay with cold air blowing through the shop wasn’t exactly a pleasant experience. Petrol stations are meant to be somewhere you can quickly pop in, warm up for a minute and grab what you need — not feel colder than outside. Not great at all.

This is not a petrol station I often use however I don't think I will use it again...I 2nd the previous review, it was like walking into a fridge when I went to pay. The poor staff were sat in coats and gloves.. glad I was in and out and back into my nice warm car 🚗

My local garage , staff polite very helpful

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the consistently frigid temperatures within this establishment and the disturbing pattern of poor staff treatment. It's unacceptable that employees and customers are subjected to such uncomfortable conditions due to inadequate heating, hindering productivity and well-being. Additionally, the apparent lack of respect and appreciation for staff, including reports of understaffing and inadequate breaks, is deeply concerning. I urge immediate action to rectify these issues by investing in proper heating and implementing policies that prioritize employee well-being, as failure to do so reflects poorly on the organization's values. The cold temperatures in this petrol station are horrible it’s the 21st century and people should not have to work in these conditions please sort this issue asap. The lady working on Saturday night was the only helpful and respectful worker and she deserves better treatment than she puts up with and all these problems

The lady on the till was very polite but I noticed she was absolutely shivering from head to toe the shop was freezing you need to sort your heating out and take more care of your staff 5 stars to the lady member of staff Saturday afternoon

Called in at this store one evening and was appalled at how it has recently deteriorated the windows were very dirty around the store and had lots of out of date items up for sale. I won’t be calling back again as I felt the person at the check out window could barely be bothered to serve me.

Visited this petrol station the other week and was appauled to here a staff member named carol on the till bad mouthing the company and manager and she stated she’s now the supervisor and stated she’s getting paid just 20p more than anyone else and bascially doing all the jobs and causing problems with her home life and I had to listen to this when I was waiting in the queue to pay for my petrol and and this is me speaking friendly and not using the bad language I listened to

'Carol' has a real attitude problem. Just trying to get home after a 12 hour shift and was left standing outside, nozzle in hand, had to go in to get her attention from who knows where to then get a filthy look through the window when I could finally go and fill up. Sorry for spending money here I guess.

Apparently this isn't 24/ 7 anymore as the last 3 nights it has been shut. My partner went down last night around 23.30 and there was a woman sat in her car with her partner and she just said it's shut. When asked why he wasn't given any kind of a reason just that it's shut that's it. And a couple of other times I have been it's very slow service and a few of the staff could do with a refresher course on good customer service.

Always goes above and beyond when I go in..so helpful. I was very grateful today when I went in to use the post office. The lovely lady told me that the counter didn't open until 9 . But she opened it and served me.. thank you so much for helping me.. I now have money for my dinner 🤣🤣

Friendly staff and good layout in the shop. The parcel service they provide on the forecourt is very convenient and can use anytime of day or night. The air machine lets you pay by cash or card too which is a big bonus.
