Great service. I called on Saturday afternoon and they asked me to bring my car straight over to take a look. The issue was sorted quickly and efficiently. Really nice guys, thank you!

I’ve been to this garage many times in the past and had no issues back when it was ‘Tommy’s Tyres’ which I didn’t realise it wasn’t until my work stated on my car. I paid £600 for tyre fitting and wheel balancing on all 4 of my tyres due to needing a winter set put on due to me driving that day to rural wales where there was 2ft snow. After leaving the garage, I experienced significant steering vibration as soon as the car reached around 40 mph. Due to safety concerns and my location at the time (having just passed through a tunnel), it wasn’t safe to return. I therefore had to go to another garage, where I paid £60 to have all four wheels properly rebalanced and thankfully they were still open as it took 2hrs for my wheels to be fitted at best buy tyre so it was very late in the afternoon on a Friday. I was advised that the rear wheels had not been correctly balanced (they left the old weights on and just randomly stuck more on) and the front wheels were also incorrectly balanced. Best Buy Tyre did refund the £60 after I raised the issue, but minimised the safety implications and declined to consider any further resolution. Wheel balancing is a safety-critical part of tyre fitting, and driving at speed with steering vibration presents a genuine risk, particularly on higher-speed roads and when the weather is snow and ice. I’m also concerned given my car is essentially brand new, as incorrect balancing can place unnecessary stress on suspension, steering and wheel components. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this garage and go to somewhere that is a lot more established so you know you are getting a safe job it’s not worth the risk.
