Uttoxeter Hand Car Wash & Valet

I will no longer be using this car wash after one of the (gentle?) men working there deliberately refused to give my daughter back the correct change when she accidentally passed him 2 £20 notes. He is obviously adept as a crook when he immediately placed £10 notes over the £20 mistakenly given him. Shame his actions have tarnished his colleagues.

STOLE MY MONEY! Although they do a good job cleaning the car, I will not be using them again. Took £20 more from me after I accidentally gave one of the older guys two £20 notes stuck together when the price was £15 and refused to give me it back - the guy was very intimidating and refused to give me my money back. Awful, intimidating experience.

Excellent service from start to end. Car looks brand new. Highly recommended. Definitely worth the price can’t complain. Staff were friendly enough. It’s my regular car wash and happy to keep coming back.

10 quid for a simple wash. No drying off and rushed job. This was on a Monday morning. Car looked no better than before with wheels dirty and dull. Windows smeared. Avoid these cowboys at all cost.

I was a customer of the MOT garage - nothing to do with this place, didn’t stop some one from this business getting angry with me - when he realised I wasn’t who he wanted they went back inside avoid

Couldn't book in at my usual place so went here out of desperation. Ended up queuing for almost 45 minutes, then told they didn't have time to do the inside. Didn't realise until I got home there was still bits that had been missed and smears everywhere. You definitely get what you pay for.

Was really good.can’t complain.But I had to wait ages over 30 minutes on a Saturday which ok I understand is one of their busiest days.Only to be told a wash wax and tyre shine was 9 pounds by a lady!!! Not 8 pounds which a gentleman told me.Was ok service but will not be returning dye.Due to how to the lady responded when questioned the price.

I've been coming here for years and the value for money is excellent. I'm not sure what the one-star reviewers are expecting — car valeting services can easily cost £££ these days. Here, you get hard-working staff providing a thorough exterior wash and an in-depth interior ‘mini clean’ for around £20 for a hatchback. Some places charge £20 just for an exterior wash! Highly recommended

Honestly, this is my fall back car wash. I’ve never rated them as they really don’t do a very thorough job on the clean, crumbs always left inside, feel like you’re putting them out paying them to do a job. Last weekend I didn’t have the time to drive up to my normal place but wanted the car cleaned before we went on holiday. Had a few things to do in Uttoxeter so decided to take my car here. They were really busy and it was a super hot day. I pulled my car up to be cleaned and asked them to do the inside as well. The man told me they were shortstaffed and they may not get time to clean my car inside. I told him I would be about an hour and if I got back and it wasn’t done, no drama. I arrived back after 45 minutes and they had apparently done the inside. They wanted to charge me £25 for a mini valet. On closer inspection, they hadn’t done anything with the boot, seats, hoovered down the side of seats or dusted any seat pockets or the handle holes or door ledges. Really disappointing. I got my pack of wet wipes out the glove compartment and started doing it all myself. The manager came over and told me to show the man who had cleaned my car where needed doing. He showed me his filthy dirty rag that he was cleaning the next car with and said it doesn’t always pick up the dirt, he asked me to stop cleaning as his manager was now angry with him. Just looking at how disgusting the cloth was made me want to wipe every area inside my car, it was filthy. The manager then came over and told me he had done me a favour cleaning my car. 🤣. I told him if he didn’t have time to donit properly I would have preferred them not to bother at all. He then told me his colleague had told me two hours, which just wasn’t the case. I will never ever take my car to these guys again. To try and show me up in front of other people rather than simply apologising for not doing a proper job. I think they forget that without the business there would be no business.

Very disappointed with the service. Went for a wash and dry, because it was raining, I was ok with them not doing the dry (albeit still charging me full price). But they didn’t clean the car properly. Dirt all over every side, to the extent you can run your finger through! Didn’t put tyre gel on, perhaps because of the rain but didn’t even bother cleaning the tyre walls at all. I may as well thrown the £10 out the window and gone straight home!

Got my car and roof washed. Poor.

Excellent service mini valet today £22 well spent spotless inside and out would highly recommend.

Took my car to be cleaned inside and out charged £35.00 and the car was still dirty inside, I realised when I returned back home they hadn’t even clean the boot, back sheets and in between the seats won’t be going again!
