Wirksworth Car Wash

Price on the gate (£8) doesn't match the price on the banner on the wall inside (£9) which you see when they dry off AFTER they washed the car, and then asked for £10 when they 'finished' Power washing the door shuts whilst you're still sat inside?? They use long handle brushed so not all "by hand" and I noticed they'd missed a lot of places when I got home. Disappointed 🤨

Really not sure on what planet they think they can charge £8 for this finish? An absolute rip off.

Been going here for years and it is now awful. They are clearly trying to charge you more than the set price as well, undercutting their boss I imagine because when I refused to pay £10 more they backed down. Paid £25 and had to finish the job when I got home. Won’t be returning ever again.

Best car wash ever

Very thorough and amazingly quick. I had the car cleaned inside as well as the outside. My car looked new when the guys had finished. And they have 15 years experience in this trade. I will be going again for sure. It's worth travelling over 5 miles for for me. Thank you again guys.

Since the short bald bloke took over the service has hit rock bottom. My kids can do a better job

Months ago this was a good car wash but has gradually declined. Today I got no more than a jet wash, cursory wipe of screen with soapy cloth little attention to wheels and the surly older man demanded £10 and said that was it. No dry off no wipe inside door openings no tyre dressing all of which used to be included for a small car for £10. In addition there seemed to be unpleasantness between the older man and the other staff. Not good in front of customers. I won't be going back they have lost a regular

Had mini valet on my small car. £20 was price on banner. After less than an hour he asked me for £35. Managed to get him to take £30 because didn’t need boot doing. Told me my car was ‘too dirty’. Got home to find sills, wheel trims and some of inside of car still dirty. I won’t go there again

What a rip off £20 for half a job would have been better going to the self service at the petrol station

Wouldn’t even give 1 star. 6 months back they left my car an utter state. I come back today giving another chance thinking they can’t mess up all the time surely… then come across the small older guy again and I thought to my self “here we go it’s the same guy again” and he’s only gone and done it again, tried making me leave without the car being dried too… strange, seems they really don’t care about it and for saying this is their job and they can’t do it properly is a massive avoid to me now. Second time and I think this time weren’t even as bad as 6 months ago, really not good
