Waves Hand Car Wash Alfreton

I am absolutely disgusted with this car wash. I used to regularly take my old car and they had always done a good job. I recently bought a new range rover and my wife took it for a valet. The car was 7 weeks old and immaculate (it's my pride and joy and I know it didn't have a mark on it when she took it for the valet). When she collected the car it had 3 panels badly scratched clearly in swirls from gravel in the sponge or polishing duster. The Manager wasn't interested and said that it must have been like that before they valeted the car. IT WAS NOT. The manager just walked away and wouldn't resolve the problem. He was regularly shouting at the cleaners for using the wrong cloths, polishes etc. These people do not know what they are doing. STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH. Disgusted.

Excellent service. They did a superb job cleaning the car after all the dead insects picked up on our trip to Scotland. My first visit to the car wash and won’t be my last. Well done!

Amazing job

£26 to clean a Ford Fiesta…. 😮 Okay so I partly blame myself for a certain element of this as I didn’t ask for a price first, but I still feel the need to voice my concerns regarding my experience. When visiting my local Tesco I decided to get our Ford Fiesta cleaned inside and out. Previously at the same car wash this service cost in the region of £15. 1 hour later I was back to collect my car and to pay using card. The member of staff turned the screen on the card machine as he presented it to me making it difficult for me to read the amount I was paying. I asked to confirm the cost and was rendered speechless when he told me. I explained that I wasn’t happy to pay that amount whereupon he became very defensive and animated raising his voice, all in front of my 12 year old daughter who was becoming visibly upset by his demeanour. I eventually agreed to pay what I had previously (£15). My advice to you is avoid this place like the plague unless you are happy to pay an extortionate amount for your car to be cleaned, and to a substandard level I might add. The interior of the boot hadn’t been touched at all neither had the centre console. Behind the wing mirrors hadn’t been washed, two of the wheels needed to be cleaned again when I got home as did areas of the glass. Now I don’t consider myself to be tight but I refuse to pay for services that I believe don’t warrant the price charged. After this experience I had a look at their pricing chart. This is confusing, unclear and when broken down they can probably charge what they like because there is no way of confirming where your car falls in their shambles of a pricing scheme.

Took my car there 2 days ago. They broke my automatic hand brake switch which needed to be replaced. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Got my car cleaned . 50 quid for a small MG convertible which isn't even as advertised. To find that when i got home the wind protector at the back had a big gash in it . Won't be using these guys again.
