Joey's Moto Detailing

First time using Joeys Moto Detailing but definitely not the last. He ceramic coated my new BMW R1300GS Adventure and has done a superb job. The bike looks better than it did when it came out of the showroom.

Took my 2023 Yamaha xsr900 in. A week later it looked brand new! Absolutely incredible work for a brilliant price.

I’ve used Richard to detail and ceramic coat my bike for the past few years. My newest bike has just been completed and yet again Richard at Joey’s Moto Detailing has done another fantastic job. The depth in the black on my tank is surreal and glass looking, the reds in the engine are immaculate. My other bike is already booked-in in a few weeks time. Just to add, cleaning the bike after Joey’s has ceramic coated is a simple process, every time no matter how dirty it falls off with a wash and every time it comes up like glass. It’s so worth the investment and I’m always assured when I sell my bikes on they look like new. Cannot recommend Joe’s Moto Detailing enough. I love what they do, and their customer care is impeccable.

My motorbike was looking very grubby when I took it to Joey's Moto Detailing. When I went back to collect the bike I was amazed. It looked just like it did on the showroom when I bought it new. The attention to detail is mind blowing! Every nut and bolt shines. The chain looks brand new too. The service is so much more than just cleaning your bike or car. You will be amazed with the results.

I've known Richard for several years through various riding groups like RoSPA and IAM. I've used his services for detailing, ceramic coating, and applying PPF protection to my cars and motorcycles. Every time, I've received a five-star professional service and excellent advice on the best products for my needs and requirements. Ceramic coating and PPF are must-have products for me. All my vehicles are now coated and protected. I can't stand having dirty vehicles, and I get really annoyed by stone chips, scratches, and boot scuffs on panniers. Having owned several BMW RTs for over 15 years, I know all about protecting against and addressing rust. I used to spend hours washing, polishing, waxing, and applying ACF-50. Since having my bikes ceramic coated by Richard, the frame and paintwork have great protection from weathering, salt corrosion (from both sea and road salting), fly splatters, and year-round road grime and debris. The products make cleaning the bike much easier and save me time and effort. Now, I spend less time with my hands in soapy buckets washing bikes and cars and more time enjoying them. PPF is brilliant for protecting against stone chips, scratches, and boot scuffs. It needs to be a high-quality product and professionally applied. I only wish it could be applied to screens and visors. I once tried a DIY kit, but it looked awful with bubbles and creases and didn't offer any real protection. It was a time-consuming waste of money!. Ceramic Coating: · Long-term protection for prepared paint, shielding your vehicle from weather, bird droppings, tree sap, tire spray, muddy roads, salt, etc. It's far superior to other products like polish and wax. · Pros: o Protects against weather and salt corrosion (a must for BMW and HD owners). o Vehicles look polished when cleaned. o Saves time on cleaning. o No need to apply polish or anti-corrosion products. o Less effort required to keep clean. o The product's life and durability last as per the warranty (proven to me as I'm now on my third BMW RT with this product). · Cons: o Expensive (but an investment in my opinion). o Tarmac still sticks to exhausts but is fairly easily removed PPF Film Protection: · A clear, nearly invisible film placed over the paintwork that takes the impact of strikes. You can also fit PPF to headlights, but I used a plastic shield. · Pros: o Protects from stone chips and scratches. My previous BMW RTs with large plastic fairings used to suffer from terrible stone chipping, and the panniers were marked with boot scuffs. No more. o Scuffs wipe/polish away. o Depending on the type of PPF, some light damage can be easily dealt with by applying heat. · Cons: o Expensive (again, an investment in my opinion)19.
