IMO Car Wash

Can't express how disappointed I was with my car wash in Ely today. I paid for a top ceramic wash, and I went through to find some of the brushes weren't working and at the end the rotating leathers weren't fitted, at the end I was left with a car covered in water marks, and looked worse than when I went in. It will be Ely hand wash from now on, far better service. And no I am not putting in a bad review to help anyone else.

Favourite car wash by far, I would definitely recommend. The staff are so friendly and polite, it is good value for money and they always do a thorough job every time.

Excellent swift service

They went the extra mile to clean bird deposits off my roof, bonnet & windows, without complaint.

Drove back from France, paid £11 for a full external wax wash, it didn’t even clean the bugs from the front bumper and windscreen. Wheels were not cleaned properly either. I won’t be going back.

Do not accept the £20 Offer! Went for the car wash to ask for the Ceramic XTR option, which is £19, the guy asks me if I want to pay £1 extra for them to wash the wheels and the windows which as far as I remember they anyways add foam and spray wash the car even on the Eco Wash option. I thought "hey this could not be that bad..." The second I enter the wash stage I notice that instead of selecting the Ceramic XTR option they put me on Triple Foam! I walk around to ask about this, and they tell me that it is because I accepted the offer. When I get home and I take a look at my car. the wheels were not even done properly, In the offer they said a tire shine is also included which it wasn't and I basically paid for a quick 1 minute scrub and a tripple foam which is not worth the bother or the money! I would have been better off using the Eco wash option and coming home to wash the windows and tires myself..

My first visit. Car not completely clean but more annoyingly left with multiple scratches on bonnet and elsewhere. No acceptance of responsibility by on site team. Manager not contactable by phone. Asked to come back at the end of the day when they 'should' be back. One word summary? Avoid.

Really poor quality wash. Avoid until they renew/ update in some way.

I paid £45 for a valet today and this is the result….. Didn’t get chance to check the car before we left as had my little boy with me and had to rush to get my other children Disappointing!!

Great at washing cars but also great at breaking them too… ripped my wing mirror case clean off and no offer for a refund, I’ll stick to handwashing

The worst Imo car wash I have ever been too. Shampoo tube blocked, the water repellant solution blocked, all the brushes look outdated. I personally went to the owner telling him about the issues but he completely denied saying that nothing is flashing as being a problem. I was tempted to wash my car again and video the process to share but didn't due to time. Never again, Imo Ely you make a mockery of the IMO brand.

Friendly and quick service

I've used this Car Wash for many years and it used to be great. Over the past year, however, maintenance of the facility has been poor often resulting in some components missing (such as the either or both of drying components), and it often leaves streaks and marks, even on the expensive washes. This never used to be the case. Today, however, I was turned away by the team since my car has roof rails, something many cars have, and something has never been a problem over the last five years. Not sure on the logic of this new policy, but for me it means the car wash is no longer usable. Time to find an alternative!

IMO car wash great friendly service and my car was spotless on the outside, triple foam was great, would 100% recommend.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and always does a great job. They all Deserve a bonus. I will recommend us to all of my friends and family

Just try to wash my car it says to 7:30Pm and at 6:00pm it’s already Close lazy staff

Looks like working hours don't match, it was showing open but it's closed

Not recommended. Doesn't do a good job of cleaning the car.
