AA Hand Car Wash and Valeting center

Went in for a car wash on Saturday 22nd June, I was offered a "special" wash for £20 which I accepted as I had a funeral to go to and wanted it clean. The special was was to have scratched the paintwork all over , I returned to the car wash less than an hour later as the sun had come out and highlighted the scratches ( there was obviously grit on the cloths they were using. The response I had was "Prove it" and that it was dirty when it came in ......to a car wash..!! Lesson learned .. Will not be going back again ,apparently the vehicle now has to be mopped to eliminate most of the scratches. IIts a pity they didn't just accept responsibility and put it right, possibly they have no insurance ?? needless to say I will be proceeding through the courts . Update after response : I had a car full of passengers who will attest that I did not raise my voice, in my experience there is little point. As I said to you we were on our way to a funeral, I did not say my car had been mopped and coated , I said it had been recently washed and the marks were not there after that one, scratches from branches etc are linear and would have been noticeable without the sun shining on it , the scratches were in random arcs strangely like you get when using a cloth or sponge to wash and dry. I was in business for many years and mistakes do happen, the mark of a good businessman is to own them and put them right, this is why we take out public liability insurance. Your response " Prove it ' is the reason for my review, had you accepted the problem and endeavoured to correct it , all would be well as I would be happy that you deal with complaints effectively. I have lived in this village for 30 years, as for being a neighbour , I see no relevance, I should be treated no better or worse than any other customer, however, I could not in good conscience say nothing. Hopefully you will deal with complaints in a more professional manner in the future. And yes , I will eventually have a bill to put things right and yes, this will be reclaimed from you.

I love their job, they operate to the details, a little expensive but you will see the value for your money.

Came here yesterday. Miserable staff, one seemed quite angry!, and the harsh handling took the paint off the bonnet!!. Do not recommend!

Very pleased, First time using this place. Staff were very friendly and polite. Had my car done inside and out and it looks spotless so will definitely use them again.

Had my M4 wash very good job Been a few times now

I have been going here for years but recently the quality has dropped rather a lot. After noticing mystery damage on my car and bringing it up with them they were rude and aggressive. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Went in for a quick clean, left with a headache. Zero attention to detail, zero customer care, and they clearly don’t value your car or your time. Wouldn’t trust them with a shopping trolley, let alone a vehicle.

Poor service and vehicle damage. Used to come here very regularly to get a number of my vehicles washed. Recently the service feels rushed with way less attention to detail than I previously got. Today my vehicle was damaged whilst being washed (front proximity sensor, blasted through with pressure washer) and the staff accused me of having an accident prior to getting to the car wash and attempting to blame it on them. The repair will involve the bumper being removed. I personally will not be returning and looking to take my trade elsewhere, and would advise others to do so to avoid a disappointing service and being accused of lying when raising issues with the service provided.

Way too expensive. I've been here three times, over the space of a few months and each time the price went up by £10 for the same job! The quality of the work was good, but I just felt that it wasn't just my car getting a rinse. I drive to Bridgend now and get the inside and outside cleaned, just as well, for £25! That's like half what I was last charged here.

Took my car down for a wash and decided to have a valet, These guys done a cracking job. Looks like a new car interior & exterior are gleaming. AA hand wash are best around ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

These guys and girl really do an excellent cleaning job on all the vehicles that come in for a wash. Always very polite and cheerful .
