I used the shell garage in shaw. The Caucasian man that runs it is rude, impatient, impolite and down and out nasty. Not just to his customers but to his staff also. What gives him the right to speak to people like they’re thick?!!!!! Will not be using again.

I went in today to collect a parcel with my child in the pram and the guy ( he said he is the manager ! Which makes it worse ) told me to leave my child with the pram near the door ,where I could see him or the get out and collect from the out side as prams are not allowed in the shop !!! Absolutely disgusting behaviour for a manager, worse customer service I have ever experienced !! And since when prams are not allowed in the shop , some new rules I missed out on ?!

The older male manager that runs this is so rude. Told me I had no common sense and then went on to belittle me in front of other male colleagues and customers. Told me I was thick and should use my head for not knowing if a car was petrol or diesel so I asked my partner. Absolute jobsworth of a man. Looking at the other complaints on here, he should be sacked because of the way he speaks to customers.

Use this place to collect parcels as well as fuel up. Monday I was asked to step aside whilst the people behind me were served. Today I was 2nd in the queue but told to wait because she had a ‘queue out of the door’, so I’m supposed to wait until the queue has gone to get my parcel. If you can’t supply the service don’t offer it!! Looks like Royton & Tesco will be getting my business now! ##UPDATE. Came back today for my parcel. Met Husnah (excuse the spelling), what a pleasure, a smile great member of staff.

Cashing in on fuel rises. Needs reporting urgently. Boycott to empty the forecourt. Governemnt say report any station doing this. Greed greed greed

Average garage but spoilt by selfish people buying fuel then blocking the forecourt waiting for food or coffee from the in-store Greggs,go to Morrisons if you can save time and money avoid if you are in a rush.

Initially I put in a negative review as I believed I was spoken to curtly and rudely . On reflection after I spoke with the area manager I have decided to reconsider as he explained staff here are getting lots of abuse . I felt for them as I had no clue I think my bluntness was the one that broke the camels back and he was a bit off with me but only after I was rude too . So people of Shaw who use this station treat the staff with respect don’t be rude or question why your parcel hasn’t arrived they are under a lot of pressure . I was annoyed but putting myself in the place of the staff I now know why . It’s a great station with hard working unappreciated staff . I am sorry to have added to the pressure 🙏🏽

Arrogant unhelpful and rude not all staff are like this but the attendant this morning fits the bill spend at least £200 a week on fuel in their must be a thriving business if they can loose this amount of one Customer

Both cashiers (Gill and the tall semi bald chap) hate their job. Couldn't find more miserable people even if you tried. I mean I know its Halloween but there is no need to look like that. Maybe organise your parcels in a way that your able to find mine without huffing and puffing like it was the biggest ask. Honest good customer service is really hard to come by these days 😕 😞 🙄

We have always had a good experience with friendly staff until yesterday (19/10/25) when we were informed on the tannoy to remove our motorbike helmets before we fill up our motorbikes. Only the week before, we had been fueling up and two "idiots" on a moped (with no helmets) decided to make a nuisance of themselves in the forecourt. But come on Shell Garage, surely your staff can make a judgement and decide who can get fuel. Can I ask, are all customers with face coverings such as hijabs & burqa's asked also to remove their headwear?

Tried calling the garage to see if there was space to take 3 EVRI Parcels and calls were ignored even after 3 attempts so I wouldn't waste your time trying to call. Maybe that should take that into consideration to have less disappointed customers because I had to carry 3 large Parcels there to be turned away and have to deal with a rude male staff member so whoever was on around 3pm today needs speaking to not the first time he was rude either 👍

Called in at 02:57 and knocked on the window to get the attention of the staff member doing something to coffee machine.....totally oblivious to me knocking! Knocked twice then decided after a few minutes to go elsewhere as just finished a 11 hrs shift and wanted to get home!!

The lady Deb is an absolute gem. Always smiling always polite. Unlike the manager who just smirked when I told him she was a good member of staff. Like I said today Deb keep being you Baz

Went to drop off a parcel at this service station which is listed as a Royal Mail Drop off point, unfortunately it’s only evri but the lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful. A pity that the same can’t be said for the very rude and aggressive man working on the forecourt. Obviously missed his customer service training and certainly lacking in people skills

Went to shell garage Crompton Way this afternoon. The young forecourt attendant Ryan was so lovely and helpful- going the extra mile to help get tyre caps off so I could add some air. Thank you so much Ryan.

Always use this petrol station and the staff are lovely. I went in tonight and Deb was so kind and helpful. She's amazing. Thank you so much!
