JM Valeting and Detailing

Thank you to Rukon for doing a great job on my car. It's 35 years old so I can't say it looks like new, but I've never seen it so clean and sparkling inside and out! Arrived on time and very professional, will use again. Thanks

I emailed JM Valeting on the 29th of March enquiring about setting up a regular monthly wash on my drive. I never received a reply — not even a basic acknowledgement. If a business can’t be bothered to respond to potential regular custom, it doesn’t inspire any confidence in their reliability or professionalism. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. JM Valeting have now responded — not to my original email, but to this public review — with a defensive and frankly unprofessional comment. Rather than acknowledging the lack of communication and offering any kind of apology, they chose to shift blame and make a sarcastic remark about “saving themselves” from working with me. I gave them over two weeks before leaving this review, which is more than reasonable. If this is how they handle potential customers, especially those looking for regular business, then I stand by my decision — I’d rather give my money to someone who values professionalism and basic courtesy.

Absolutely delighted with the service from JM Valeting! They booked in my urgent request for the following day and did a fabulous job. Will definitely use them again and would recommend.

I was so disgusted with this service, but will start with the one or two positives. The person valeting the car seemed to be friendly upon first impressions and he was able to adjust the time of the slot a few hours ahead of the appointment to a later one, due to unforeseen circumstances. However, he did arrive 10 to 15 minutes late which meant that then impacted my schedule, but I accepted this with grace due to the change of time. Upon finishing the car there were numerous dirty spots both in the interior and exterior of the car. Considering that I was now running late, I had to rush off and leave the money with someone else to hand over to him once he had finally completed the bits I had highlighted, which he was fine with. When I returned, he had left to go to his next appointment and had chucked all of the rubbish on my lawn and driveway. I rang to complain and all he could say was that he had run out of plastic bags! Firstly, my black and green bins were right next to the car, but beyond that a simple request for a plastic bag would have sufficed. He was unable to take accountability and blamed it on not having the bags. The car still isn't entirely clean which isn't a detailing at all. Complete waste of money. "Frankly I'm disgusted. I'm upset that I spent so much on such a bad service. I will not be coming back or recommending the service. Moral of the story is: it's best to stick to services that have been recommended via word of mouth.

Top job detailing my car. Spent a lot of time and effort and the results are fantastic. Will certainly use again in the future. Definitely recommended for “on your driveway” detailing.

Excellent experience with JM valeting and Detailing, after a morning in their care my car was immaculate both inside and out, the body work was gleaming, reasonable pricing, I would deffinatly use there service again, and highly recommend them.

Absolutely disgraceful, called to book a valet and got a good response initially booked in for the Monday then he contacted Monday morning to tell me he is feeling unwell. He agreed a new time of 11am for today and did not call or message to cancel the appointment. Had me waiting all morning. Had to re book with another company. This is bad customer service especially when I had to arrange things around for me to be home. Really disappointed with this service provided

Just used JM Valeting to do an engine bay clean on my car. Did an absolutely fantastic job and were a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely use again and can't recommend highly enough.

I had booked a full valet for today with Shakeel at 11:30am. He rings me at 12pm to tell me he won't get to me until 12:40pm. He finally arrives at 1pm and tells me on the front door that he's sorry but he's got 'an emergency' and can't do the valet. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Don't waste your time. Use someone else.

I had an appointment booked in for 2pm, no one arrived or contacted me. I left voicemails and no one answered the phone or called me back. My car is very dirty and was looking forward to a clean. Very disappointed in the overall service. Lack of communication. Had to find another service in the Birmingham area.
