Lewes Hand Car Wash Ltd

Really disappointed- I was recommended this car wash by a family member they told me it was fantastic. Could not be further away from the experience I had. I dropped my car off at 11am they told me it will be 2.5 hours because of their line up- no problem. I went shopping killed some time and got back at 4:30 and it wasn’t done and they told me the closing time is 5 so come back tomorrow morning early. I couldn’t do that as I’m back at work and this was my only time off. I specifically came to Lewes to get my car cleaned- I wish they told me when i arrived that there’s a chance it might not get done, I would of definitely left and gone somewhere else as my day was based around getting my car cleaned. Very disappointed- they had 5 hours to do it. I will never go back there again and don’t recommend

If you’re prepared to be met by surly rude staff then I strongly recommend you take your vehicles here.

So ok for a basic wash however took my sons new car in for a wash and polish and to be Frank for £60 it was appalling see images. I asked if they were sure they were finished and he seemed very content that he had done a good job. So issues being : no shine on tyres. Missed patches all over the place. Pretty sure only one coat. Fabulous job from these lovely guys. They were all so kind and attentive. I highly recommend them.

So they trashed my wheels yesterday after failing to wash off their aggressive disc cleaning agent and now I need to get the rear hubs replaced at considerable cost on a brand new car that’s less than a year old - cowboys - don’t go there if you value your vehicle.

Fantastic customer service, fantastic job cleaning the car and prices are incredibly cheap for the quality of the wash. Always quick and greet you with a smile on their face. Better than anywhere else in the local area by a mile.

Didn’t dry properly, my gloss black wheels still covered in brake dust when I got home, had to clean myself, had to ask for tyre dressing, not a good job for £21, worth the drive to Horam superb job for £15

The price was quoted as one thing online, a higher number in person, and then an even higher number when he was typing in the keypad to take payment - apparently a “mistake”. Totally burned my trust for the sake of a few extra quid, and I won’t go here back ever again because of that. Good enough wash and vacuum otherwise & a complementary air freshener hanging from the mirror.

Quick service , good pricing ! Only thing that removes a star is that the car mats weren’t clean afterwards - however I admit they were a bit muddy ! Would deffo go again
