Cambridge Car Valeting

I never leave bad reviews of companies especially if it is a small business but I cannot believe the experience I've had with Steve. I messaged to book our cars in for a valet, at the beginning of March. Got told that he would get in touch the following week (and didn't), chased the following week and had no reply, then chased again and managed to get booked in. When Steve arrived he immediately gives the car key back, says he won't clean the car as theres too much stuff in it. (We have two kids, it's a Peugeot 107 so a tiny car). He's cleaned our cars in the past and no problem with car seats. Didn't ask my husband to remove anything from the car, which we would have been happy to do. Messaged him after saying we would have removed it (see photo) and we will look elsewhere for the cleans from now on, (as well as thanking him as he has cleaned the cars in the past). I am told that 'I should be ashamed of myself' due to the condition of the car. Why on earth would you have a valet company if you don't want to clean a car. The attitude given to us when we have been pretty long term customers was disgusting. I would not expect it to get personal or disrespectful in any way. Obviously the guy doesn't have kids!

They did a pretty good job with my car. The cleaning was thorough, and the staff were polite and easy to deal with. Nothing over the top, but the car looked much better afterward and I was happy with the service
