Suds valeted both of my cars, inside and out. One was very dirty from muddy dog walks! Terry did an excellent job, they both look like new. Nice man, great job, would highly recommend

Would NOT recommend Suds. When he arrived, he asked me to move my car as it was parked on the street. Apparently that was too dangerous so I had to move the car to the garage behind my house. They never asked if the car would be parked on a drive or in a garage during the booking process. Showed him to our small car and asked for a full valet before leaving him to it. Once complete, he showed me the car and the outside looked clean, however I noticed that the car aerial was missing and asked where it was. He replied with “I thought I put it in the car” before finding it on the floor. He had somehow managed to snap it off. He then proceeded to make excuses “it’s corroded, it would have come off at some point” and suggested I could just glue it back together. I’ve owned the car for 10 years and it has never broken before. When I asked if the valet would be discounted, he said it wouldn’t, and that it was in fact going to cost more because the car was dirtier than expected (he completely failed to mention this when I showed him the car initially). After some complaining, he then said he would only (ha!) charge £65 for the clean - the advertised price. For the most part the car was clean but the front windscreen, rear-view mirror and wing mirrors still had smears and smudges from before so it either wasn’t done or wasn’t done well. I emailed afterwards and the business owner eventually discounted the price by £10 (by this point, I couldn’t be bothered to argue any longer). Fortunately, I’ve been able to source a replacement for around the same cost and can fit it myself but this could have potentially cost a lot more through a garage when you consider parts and labour. Not everyone can repair their car and shouldn't have to after a car wash. To summarise, he broke my car aerial, didn’t think to mention it until I asked, tried to charge me extra and then as “goodwill” reduced it to the advertised price. Advice for Suds: if you need the vehicle to be parked on a drive or in a garage then mention this when the booking is being made. If the cost of the valet can vary depending on how dirty the vehicle is, ask for photos beforehand and mention that the cost is not fixed. Also, try not to break components of the car where possible and if you do, be upfront about it - don’t wait for the customer to highlight it. Avoid.
