Waves Hand Car Wash Cardiff Pengam

possibly the worst car wash I've ever used and the most expensive. I was charged £35 for an Audi A1 for inside & outside clean and polish I didn't inspect the car when I got back from shopping but it looked shiny so off I went.... however when I did have a good look it was smeared and covered in water drips but the worse thing was white polish residue everywhere on all rubbers around the windows, the front grille & badges, in the panel joints etc, just a very sloppy job. They had also wiped the inside of the windows with something greasy which went blurry when I needed to de-mist the windscreen and took me an hour to clean off !!!!! just avoid this car wash there are much better & cheaper places out there

Paid £15 to clean the inside. Went to the shop and came back and there was still a stain where my son dropped his ice cream. They never even attempted to clean it. Then there was the marks where he threw his fruit shoot on the dash, once again no attempt at cleaning. I told them the issues and they said I'd have to pay more so they can sort it. So basically the gold option is a £15 hoover. They are cowboys. AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Was quick easy and efficient. Reasonable price. Wasn't a perfect wash, still some grime in the books and crannys but a worthwhile top-up wash every few weeks.

Amazing service, super detailed and kind They cleaned out upholstery stains I thought were going to leave marks forever. They did the entire car in an hour's time (quiet period) We just shopped and went to the cafe. They put down plastic for the way home. Reasonable price, conveniently place d 100% will come again

I visited the Pengam Green Waves shop on a Sunday afternoon, expecting there to be a bit of a queue but the two men working there got right onto cleaning my car which i was really happy with. From the outset they were so lovely and welcoming, and bless them they kept apologising for the wait because it was taking a bit longer to clean than expected but there was nothing to be sorry for. They asked me lots of questions while I was waiting about what I wanted, eg if I wanted the boot cover to be power washed which I confirmed yes please. And they explained I’d need to air dry them at home in the garden afterwards. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. Prior to this I had just visited the Penarth Waves shop where I had gone in for the same service. The manager at Penarth could not have been more rude and clearly didn’t want my custom. He had been unfriendly and unwelcoming, looked inside the back of the car and came back round to confirm the price. He rudely said it would be Full Monty and this wasn’t a question, it was more of a demand and quoted me £80. The car was nowhere near dirty enough to warrant that price, and I never confirmed I wanted that level of service either. I was shocked, said “no thanks” and drove away. So anyway that’s why I drove ten minutes away to the Pengam Green Waves shop where the two men working there went above any beyond to give the best service they could. They quoted me £30 for the Gold service I had asked for, they were so polite and professional, and given such a remarkable difference in the service provided, I gave them a £10 tip. I was really impressed. Customer service goes a long way and I’ll definitely come back to Pengam Green Waves again. Thanks guys.

Very helpful staff. Zana took lot of interest in making sure service offered is flawless and that customer leaves happy. They only use autoglym products that are acid free.

Charged me £35 to clean my Toyota yaris ,even though the website stated £18.The dash was left dripping with polish & hadn't been cleaned all over , I could clearly see where they hadn't bothered cleaning.
