Welsh Hand Car wash

Brilliant hand car wash. No Booked in, came out spotless inside and out. What stood out was the tyre shine — they black up the tyres at the end and it gives the whole car a proper finished look. Not something I've seen at other places. quick turnaround, fair price. Will be coming back. Top recommend.

Windows and mirrors scratched from dirty mitts. Will not be back. I was also under the impression that the service (20 pound for in and out) includes inside of the doors cleaned - mine were not touched at all.

⭐ 1 Star – Poor Service and Paint Damage I visited Welsh Hand Car Wash on Sunday 7th July, Earlier that day, while driving on the M4, I unfortunately drove into a swarm of bees. As a result, the front of my car—including the windshield, grill, and bonnet—was covered in insect remains. I knew this would become a bigger issue if left to dry, so I decided to get the car cleaned the same day, despite having recently had it valeted. I happened to be passing by Welsh Hand Car Wash (a business I hadn’t visited before) around 5:30 PM. Though it was late in the day, the staff gestured for me to drive in. I discussed the pricing with them—despite the sign stating a mini valet for medium-sized vehicles was £15, I was told it would be £20. I accepted, as I needed the service. During the wash, I noticed smudging and streaks left by the cloth on the sides of the car, but I didn’t make an issue of it as I hoped the more important front section had been cleaned thoroughly. On them finishing the car and calling over, i went to inspect the front. I thought it was still dirty as i could see some smudges where the insect residue was. Only for me to look closer and see that they had actually chipped the paint where they had scrubbed so hard. The 2 people responsible were a balding Iraqi man with grayish facial hair and another iraqi man with a bald spot in the middle of his head short brown hair with brown facial hair and a pointy face. These two gents took turns denying responsibility—it appeared they had scrubbed the insect residue like it owed them money. Either that or their cleaning chemicals are made by NASA or they used sandpaper. They also didnt touch the inside of the car despite charging me for a mini valet. The pointy face man kept insisting that these paint chips were there when i brought the car in. This was categorically untrue—I had specifically inspected that section of the car just before the valet, as it was my main concern. He attempted to justify the damage by pointing to unrelated, older scratches elsewhere on the vehicle. To make matters worse, he began laughing and then abruptly drove away in a bmw vehicle with the registration EK62 OSB, leaving me standing there. I found this behavior deeply unprofessional and offensive, especially given the damage done. I documented the damage and at this point im considering filing a complaint for criminal damage. I have had my car valeted multiple times in different locations and this is by far the worst experience in terms of both workmanship and customer service.

Cheap price for a good service. For the first time here and definitely i will go back next time

Great wash

Shocking experience today, used them many times before and never had an issue except from today, asked for a mini valet and for them to do a good job on the windows and from the start all 3 of them seemed incompetent at the job, one of the men couldn’t work out how to use my car door handle? (Weird one) the other couldn’t work the boot? Anyway, after the car wash my car was blocked in between a high curb with 2 cars infront and behind millimeters away from my car, I asked the man how I was supposed to get out? He replied “do you not drive” I was disgusted! Upon checking the vehicle smudges all over all windows and looked terrible. Most of the carpet left dirty. Didn’t clean any doors. Didnt clean centre console or instrument Cluster. Didn’t clean the spoiler which was thick with dirt. I’m honestly so upset that after using them so many times I’ve been hit with such a shocking experience! After being a regular customer I can safely say I will never ever go there again! Stick to four clean wheels! Also forgot to add, I left £1 in the centre console which was stolen by them, although it’s a small amount it still shows the morals of these people.

First time here today and most definitely won’t be the last!! Excellent service and cheap compared to VOG where I lived. Very busy, so I cleaned the inside while waiting. Very pleased and would highly recommended.
