I came in around 5 pm ish with a lot of questions about what I was meant to put in my car and the person at the till was very helpful and patient, even after messing up and causing more work for him. Really appreciated that

Hawthornes Service Station, West Bromwich The forecourt is very clean & everything is marked up correctly to avoid any confusion. The inside was also very clean with good hygiene. The staff are very polite and helpful. This is the only fuelling station I use

I was served this morning by an ignorant staff member behind the Spar/Bp counter. The usual two night shift Spar staff are great. However, the one that they have on this morning is very ignorant. I said hello when I reached the till, he arrogantly said nothing back, I mean, he's such an important person that he couldn't say hello to a regular customer. I also mentioned about the water bottles in the fridge not being cold. He arrogantly said "nah, it not working". Not "It's" but "it". (English clearly not his first language). It should have been (sorry it's not working, we're getting it sorted), then his head went straight down into his phone, no bye or thank you sir etc. I think that the management here need to have a look into this staff member's conduct and ensure fridges are working correctly. I was served just before 00:20hrs this morning. Ignorance and Incompetence is clearly everywhere. Update - 26/07/2026: I must say, apart from the above individual, which he is rarely there. The other BP/Spar staff are great. Also, the ladies in Subway are excellent.

What more can you ask for, it has everything, puts every other petrol station to shame

Unfriendly staff, waiting for over 15mins this morning for a breakfast roll. Very slow. Will not ever order at subway.again.
