ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE- the absolute WORST service station I had the misfortune of stepping foot upon. First off, the staff looked like they had just woken up from a 40-year nap and were deeply offended that a customer had dared interrupt it. The bathrooms? I’ve seen cleaner restrooms in abandoned gas stations during a zombie apocalypse. If you're ever curious what a biohazard smells like, this is your golden opportunity. I tried to fill up my tank, but half the pumps had plastic bags over the handles like they were in mourning. The ones that did work were slower than a sloth on vacation. And they charged about 20% more per gallon than any other place in the galaxy. And don’t even think about asking for help. You’d get a faster response yelling into a black hole. I’m convinced the employees were part of an elaborate government experiment in passive-aggressive behavior. In short: if you enjoy overpriced fuel, coffee brewed in 1997, and restrooms that double as horror movie sets, this is the place for you. Otherwise, keep driving.

Absolutely shocked at the service we just received at this service station. Pulled up at the hgv pump as we always do at every other shell or other garage in the country our large motorhome towing a car only to be refused service because we’re not a hgv. Technically our twin axle 5.5 ton motor towing a car is hgv - it certainly requires the same licence! I advised the server i would wait at counter to pay if he was concerned about drive offs but was told thats their policy and we had to use the normal pumps. I informed the server our vehicle would not fit, was still told no. I asked to talk to manager, was told she wasn’t available but he would text her, he said she still texted no. This went back and forth while i explained that we have never been refused service before, even without fuel card as i wait at counter to pay, i even offered to let them hold onto my iphone in leu of a payment card. I was again informed no but i offered to wait while he texted his manager again. After several more minutes of being ignored i decided to leave and write this review as i could not find any other way of speaking to someone to try and get this resolved. No logical reasons were given other than its just their policy. We drove 8 miles down the road to the welcome break services who were very friendly and had no issues with us filling up there plus they were cheaper!

The gas station requires you to pay for parking and there are no showers, I do not recommend it.

Good and polite staff

Filled up here on 9th March and paid on contactless, was told by the staff that the transaction was successful and asked If I would like the receipt (which I declined). The transaction had infact been declined, staff claimed I drove off without paying and I'm now stuck with admin fees equalling how much I spent on fuel! Never use this petrol station!

Freundliches und Hilfsbereites Personal. Parken 24 Stunden 15 Pfund. Nur am Automaten und nur mit Karte am Parkplatz zu bezahlen.

I’ll award 5x stars soon just that presently the showers aren’t working & cant know when they are .

Handy for a comfort brake you can also get food and a drink

Went in today to grab some coffee and cigarettes, sherry was really helpful with the Costa machine and even showed me how to get points and free coffees using the shell app. Will deffo be coming here again

toilets are desgusting and have flys in them fridges are broke absolute mess

Fuel prices were extortionate. Price per litre was 30p more than my previous refuelling. 179.9 for E5!!! Avoid.

It's a disgrace, paid the parking, and went in for a shower...sorry drive showers are closed because the cleaners went home. Avoid parking as it's not worth it ,I should've parked in a lay-by...same thing.

Nice friendly service station with good food products

Handy for BEEN Coffee across the carpark. Little Waitrose and Shell Select services aren't great. Toilets are really grim - swear they haven't been cleaned since we last passed through here 18months ago! Desperately in need of an upgrade and clean.

Obviously the fuel is more expensive from Service areas - but clean and easily accessible
