Texaco Bakewell

Pulled in for petrol, had to wait an unnecessary length of time for the pump to start. I was the only customer, early evening, the attendant carried on filling the shelves whilst I stood waiting to pay, didn't acknowledge me, pointed to the card cash machine, begrudgingly gave me a receipt without a courteous word of any sort. Extremely rude and without any type of gratitude.

The most miserable person behind the counter. For someone who works in customer service to argue with you after he’s got something wrong is a bit astonishing. Do better

I fill up at this petrol station time to time but the gentleman behind the counter is probably one of the most rudest man I’ve ever encountered when his role is to be curious and help but what I got was rude and unhelpful and throws the pen and receipt at you ,as they have the franchise I would imagine they would definitely not be happy with this service.

Writing review on my husbands review today when he filled up works lorry. The member of staff serving was the most obnoxious person I’ve ever met. I went in to pay in a good mood and left wondering how Texaco could have someone representing them of such bad character. He behaved exactly the same way with one of my colleagues 2 days earlier. He needs sacking.

I don’t even want to give any stars tbh! What absolutely ignorant horrible staff they are at Texaco/Jet in Bakewell! Unfortunately I made the decision to fill up as I came into Bakewell only to be snapped at by a horrible man and told if I want a receipt I must ask him, which he said in a very nasty manner to then only have it thrown at me! There was a bus driver In before me and the way he spoke to him was so rude! He doesn’t deserve the job, I have never known anyone like him and they will never get my custom again! I have heard a lot of rumours about the staff there and how rude they are and I can say it is true!! An absolute disgrace of staff!! Do not even entertain them, go over the road to the Co-op one all staff are brilliant there!

Not punctual , not at all responsible . If you are responsible please try to open at the correct time . Very bad experience .

I recently visited the Texaco Fuel Station Bakewell to fill up with diesel and grab a couple of coffees after being on the road for about an hour. My partner went in to pay and used the Costa machine to get two coffees. When he brought them back to the car, I took a sip of my latte and immediately noticed the milk was off. My partner tried his as well and it was the same, so he took both drinks straight back into the shop. Unfortunately, the staff member’s attitude was very disappointing. He became defensive straight away and initially said we wouldn’t be getting a refund, which was frustrating given the drinks were clearly not drinkable. We did eventually receive a refund, but the way the situation was handled was poor and felt unnecessarily confrontational. The issue itself could have been easily resolved with a simple apology and replacement or refund, but the customer service really let the experience down. I would suggest checking the Costa machine is properly maintained and that staff handle situations like this more professionally in future.

Advertising cheaper fuel but only supreme available which is printed very small on the only diesel pumps available, very (not so for us) cheap trick, well done 👏 Very rude man on counter too!

Really rude person on the counter..ask for receipts he looked at me like I have ask his bank details.do not understand what I am saying..he keep saying to me same to you..it looks like he was sleeping and I woke him up.what a disgrace to the customer service..avoid

That new lad with glasses on is obnoxious, every time I go in he's rude. I used to use these guys every week for work, now I'll be going over the road.

If possible I would give it zero stars, I had a problem with the jet wash. No foam. When I went into ask the guy behind the till, he didn't seem to understand, which he clearly did. NO APPOLOGY He offered me a partial refund - as I had used water - although I wanted foam. I said I didn't care about the pound - but I objected strongly to his poor attitude. He followed me outside and said that if I wanted a full refund, I would need to put the water back (from down the drain!). VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - I will not use them again, and not fill up with petrol... Poor attitude has lasting consequences.

Called to fill up my van on Sunday and the gentleman serving me was very rude and it's not the first time he has been rude i fill up every week at texaco in bakewell

Normally lovely helpful guys. Spend a fortune with them each week unfortunately today’s experience terrible rude unpleasant unhelpful member of staff who doesn’t deserve the job

Get off the phone (on loudspeaker) while serving customers! It's a common courtesy and just rude
