Hand Car Wash (Sainsbury's)

My wife took her car to get washed this morning and was charged £14. Paid for a car wash and the lower sills/rocker panels were left completely caked in mud and dirt, barely touched. Rest of the body was done fine but the bottom third of the car looks like it was never washed at all. For the price, expected a proper job all round. Won’t be going back.

Very pleased with the Polar Valet from Thomas and the team - the car was gleaming inside and out afterwards. The job was done at the time I booked and completed within the time I expected. Will definitely be back!

Good quick service, only concern was the finishing wasn't as I expected; however, the car looked clean post a valet service.

Genuinely impressed with this place. You can tell straight away they actually give a damn. They’re using AutoGlym products across the board, which already puts them miles ahead of most of the rushed, corner-cutting washes out there. I had Neil on mine and he was spot on. Knew exactly what he was doing, took his time, and clearly takes pride in it. The whole team are the same. Easy to deal with, proper communication, and you never feel like they’re just trying to rush you through. It’s a breath of fresh air compared to the usual slop you get elsewhere. If you care about your car even a little bit, this is where you go. They are all local lads and well spoken…

Disappointing again this morning. Has definitely went down hill. Another wash today and below par. Had a valet on 3 occasions this last 12 months and not up to the usual high standard. Today, wheels not dressed despite paying for it and glass not cleaned properly. Door sills not touched.

First and only time I'll be here. Paid £18 for a wash, dry and wax. Had to clean water marks off every panel when I got home, alloys and under wipers still dirty. Definitely not worth the money, could have had the same results for half the price elsewhere.

Always do a great job under the pressure of having a queue longer than the Great Wall of china! I’m sure the boys are absolutely exhausted at the end week especially that Conor boy doesn’t stop running about! All staff are polite friendly and very welcoming every time I’m in! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Paid for carwash (£18) small car polar wash, guy takes the money (£20) and says the other guy will come and finish the windows and tell me when the cars finished, his mate comes over and does nothing else to the car and says thats it, his mate danders round the corner with my change. I dont think this is the first time these 2 people have done this and probably wont be the last. As for the car wash itself it was ok but not worth £18 (or £20 lol), paid the extra for the polar wash as the tyre protection was an upgrade but after driving back to work the tyres didnt look like they even had any protection on them at all.

I have used this car was a few times over the last year and was always very happy but today I was a bit disappointed. I asked for a wash and dry and paid £14 which I think would normally be a good price but today the standard of wash was not as good as previously. Some areas are still dirty but the worst part is the glass is all very dirty. Although I don’t have a photo of it, my passenger window looks like it was cleaned with a dirty cloth. Maybe it is because they were quite busy at the time but I have decided I won’t be back.

Car wash was quick and the finish made the car just like when i got it out of the showroom

Disappointed with the inside valet today. Prices have gone up to £32 for Polar Valet but I feel like quality of cleaning is dropping. The car still had yogurt marks on the back leather seats which would’ve easily wiped away if done when cleaning. As I drove away I seen the back leather seats were still messy with yogurt marks. I done a U-Turn came back asked if I could get a cloth to wipe it down and one of the guys just said he’s tried wiping it and getting get it out but couldn’t, tried to demonstrate cleaning it in front of me and some came off but said couldn't get the rest off stating that he was using the best spray on the market and I would need to book a deep seat clean to get the rest off. (Which ofcourse would cost extra) I got home and wiped the seats with water wipes and everything came off. I’m distracted because I paid £32 for a Valet that’s meant to clean inside and outside of the car. The outside was done well and I was happy with that but the inside could’ve been better.

Called in today for a wash and dry. Wasn’t too busy which I was initially happy about. I paid £16 for a wash which is already a premium as they used better cleaning products. Gents the clean simply didn’t match the pricing. Panels had large patches missed, side skirts weren’t cleaned and the flat faces of the alloys weren’t cleaned properly at all. Flys and debris still stuck to the front. I’m quite disappointed guys I shouldn’t have to get out of the car to check the quality of the job. It’s such a shame because return business is your bread & butter.
