**Review of My Experience with Fix Auto** I recently had my car repaired at Fix Auto to address a dent on the passenger side and rear door. While the initial repair work was done very well and I am pleased with the results, the overall experience was not entirely satisfactory. Upon collecting my car on the scheduled day, I noticed a significant issue with the repair. There was a visible mark on the door, approximately 2-4 cm in size, that appeared to be the result of paint leaking while drying. Additionally, there were many dots on the paint, which made the door look unfinished and unprofessional. Due to this, I requested that the door be redone. Although the staff were accommodating and fixed the issue, it meant I had to wait another day to collect my car. This delay was quite inconvenient, especially considering the cost of £1,167 for the repairs. At this price, I expect a high-quality result without the need for additional adjustments. Furthermore, on the day I left my car, I registered a 360-degree video of its interior and exterior for my own safety. Today I later checked the car, I discovered that my spare wheel kit was missing. I informed the receptionist, who insisted it wasn't their fault and denied that anyone had taken it. However, I have proof from my Volvo app showing that the boot was opened 31st May 16:19 , right before I handed over my keys. ( 20th May 8:50-9:05) This suggests that someone had accessed my boot, yet they refused to take responsibility for the missing kit. I request my spears wheel kit to be returned in good condition, or to be ordered from Volvo dealership ( I’ve receipt from Volvo , I bought my kit ) Leaving my car at Fix Auto for almost 11 days and dealing with these issues has left me dissatisfied. While the final repair is now up to standard, the inconvenience, additional wait time, and loss of my spare wheel kit overshadowed the positive aspects of their work. I urge Fix Auto to resolve the issue with my missing spare wheel kit as soon as possible to restore my confidence in their service.

They don’t answer the phone😩I was told someone will call me back at 2pm regarding works for my car, and nobody called, and now they don’t answer the phone, probably go elsewhere mate🤔

I had my car rear ended and it was booked into fix auto Dagenham. All the staff were very helpful I was updated with the process of the claim and the repairs were all done to a very high standard I’m am extremely pleased with the whole process

Absoloutly shocking service my vehicle was involved in a accident on the 17th of january and was recovered and taken to fix auto to be repaired. the vehicle was finnaly returned to me after three months everytime i called to check on the vehicle i was given numerous excuses i.e firstly couldnt source a standard tyre, wrong side headlight was delivered, headlight delivered was damaged twice, then they couldnt source a headlight as in was out of stock with main dealers. after two months i took it upon myself to source a headlight from main dealers which i managed to do so. informed my insurance and they were happy to pay for the part informed fix auto that i was delivering the part to them the following day and someone needed to pay for it to. amazingly one had just turnt up in the parts department very ironic the vehicle was then fully repaired only to find that there was problems with the sensors and a wirering fault so it had to go main dealers as they was not capable of fixing it themselves this then delayed it another two weeks. when the vehicle was delivered back to me there was all broken parts and emty rubbish boxes left on the back seat of the truck for me to tidy up. how insurance companies authorise this company to cary out repairs on their behalf is beyond me!!!!

Please avoid this auto centre at all costs. If your insurer selects this garage to carry out your repairs, I would highly reconsider and seek an alternative. Lack of communication, unorganised and unprofessional.

From the minute the insurance company sent my car to this garage it’s been nightmare from arranging to collect the car 4 different times that got changed because of there own issues. Also tried to collect the car on foot when it was noted the car wasn’t road worthy and recovery was already approved they tried to say they are collecting on it foot when the damages hasn’t even been assessed and if I hadn’t questioned it that’s what would’ve happened, maybe this was to pocket the recovery money I don’t know. Then I was told they couldn’t fix my car due to prior poor repairs that said to be poor paint work on the front bumper, I asked for a engineer report and everything listed was as a result of the accident not anything prior, as that is where I was hit so they would’ve had to be change the front bumper anyways so that made no sense. Which is funny as many of the reviews of this same garage talks alot about poor repairs so maybe this was a blessing for them to make up that lie as to not fix my car. They kept my car for 2 weeks before telling me any of this which I’m sure the Insurence paid storage fee for. My cars now with another garage which have already started repairs with no issues and they have started replacing the front bumper as needed with no mention of poor prior repairs. I think this whole garage is dishonest and very untrustworthy. I’ve read many reviews and I knew it was going to be a headache dealing with them. If you can decide on the garage your car goes to please DO NOT CHOOSE this one.

I rarely leave negative reviews for businesses, but on this occasion I feel it’s important to share my experience. My Audi went into Fix Auto Dagenham in December 2024 for insurance repairs following damage to the driver’s side door and the front bumper. The car went into Fix Auto Dagenham with the driver’s side door seal already fitted and in place. When I received the car back, I immediately noticed that the driver’s side door seal was missing, along with missing screw plugs (photos attached). Because of this, the door sat almost half an inch further in than it should have, leaving the door visibly misaligned and causing noticeable wind and driving noise while driving the car. It also became apparent that the bottom part of the driver’s door had not been fitted properly, which caused a rattling noise while driving. The vehicle then had to go back to Fix Auto Dagenham for remedial work. I received the car back again after they reinstalled the seal, but a couple of weeks later I discovered that rainwater was entering the vehicle through the top and bottom of the door, indicating there were still issues with the repair. In total, the car had to go back to Fix Auto Dagenham multiple times due to problems with the repair. Eventually, I informed my insurance company, who decided to move the car to a different repair workshop to investigate and resolve the ongoing issues. The new garage determined that the work carried out by Fix Auto Dagenham on the driver’s door was not up to standard and needed to be redone properly. A few months later, another issue surfaced when I opened the bonnet to refill the windscreen washer fluid (which sits above the front bumper). As I tried to refill it, the liquid immediately poured out from underneath the bumper instead of going into the system, indicating a fault with the installation. At the same time, I also had issues with the driver’s side mirror not heating. When the vehicle went back into the new repairer, they investigated both the washer fluid issue and the mirror at the same time. They discovered that the mirror problem was due to poorly completed electrical work inside the driver’s door. This meant the car had to go in for further repairs and replacement parts, which took a considerable amount of time. While addressing these issues, the garage also inspected the front bumper work previously carried out by Fix Auto Dagenham and found that it too was not up to the required standard. As a result, both the driver’s door repairs and the front bumper work originally carried out by Fix Auto Dagenham had to be completely redone by the new repairer. It is now March 2026 and I am only just getting my car back after the second repairer had to redo all of the work. Overall, the initial repair carried out by Fix Auto Dagenham was clearly not up to standard and resulted in significant inconvenience, multiple return visits, and a very long delay in properly resolving the damage to my vehicle.

The repair of my kodiaq took a bit longer than expected but i liked the quality of the repair even if I had a small issues afterwards which was fixed fast.

10/10 Service Tony was brilliant at the front receptionist. 10/10 repairs im very happy with the professional repairs I will definitely use this company again as they gave me 10/10 Customer service, 10/10 professional repairs and bonus a free car wash inside and out.

Car was repaired (but then that's what it's there for),however try getting through to them on the phone to check progress, impossible! And one of the options is for the "customer excellence team" which is not only mis-named but is actually no different from the other options. I also broke down with a flat battery the next day and had to be recovered and they released the car to me, after 2 mths in the bodyshop, without obviously checking the status of the battery

Absolutely excellent service, from the time I reported the accident to Hastings Direct, to then having my courtesy car and then my car being picked up by Fix Autos. Very impressed with how soon everything was dealt with, I was kept informed at every step of the process, the inspection, to having the quote being off to Hastings, it being accepted and then the commencement of the repairs. The time frame was 4 weeks but was definitely worth it. I was also able to keep track via a secure portal. Car was absolutely looking like new, bodywork perfect, car was cleaned inside and out. Great customer service Daniel and Adi and the reception team were amazing! were great and had my MOT done as well. Couldn’t fault them at all. I would definitely recommend Fix Autos to my friends and family.

As other reviewers have said, this company is dishonest and I would never go near them again! I asked for a quote on my rear bumper and asked if they could look at the clips holding my front bumper, which was fitted as new by them and had become detached. I was told that as they offer a lifetime guarantee they will do this for me while I wait. The car was driven to the workshop and returned 10 minutes later with the news that the workshop refused to carry out the repair as "the car has obviously been hit on the front passenger side and that has dislodged the bumper on the drivers side, also they can tell that the bumper has been repainted ". I asked the person who told me this to point out the area where it has allegedly been repainted and he said he couldn't see it. Of course he couldn't as it has never been repainted. There is a tiny scratch on the side of the bumper which they alleged caused such an impact as to knock the whole bumper sideways. Again this is not true. I took the car to a more honest body shop and was quoted over £1000 for a new rear bumper. They said they would re-attach the front bumper free of charge. By refusing a repair that would have taken 5 minutes and cost nothing, and by telling lies, this company has lost a job that I was willing to pay over £1000 for. Not surprising that their reputation is rapidly going downhill!

I had a fantastic experience getting my rear bumper fixed here. The only issue was that the receptionist got the appointment dates confused, so I had to reschedule, which was inconvenient. However, apart from that, everything was smooth. It took 9 days to fix, and the estimated time was 10. My rear bumper looked brand new. A massive shoutout to Ian, who drove my car to get it fixed and then brought it back to my house. He’s a very nice guy and was very informative

Dishonest Company, Very poor work carried out with 0 customer service. Stay clear away from this company. Very dishonest. They did a horrific job on my partners car then deny it wasn’t them. Always check the work carried out. They did a door repair which they sealed up the internal membrane with black duct tape. The manager at the branch is not helpful and also made up things and in complete denial. Their diagnosis system poor. I said after the repair that the door card is leaking, Colin the manager diagnosed it with stating that my roof was leaking. I said go and get 2 glasses of water, I opened the door and told him to now to pour the water on the window door, surprisingly the water was coming out the door card, he didn’t know what to say at that point. Lost for words.. what a diagnosis from the professionals hey. Repaired job was from Feb 2023. Currently still in the complaint process and with looking at legal route. UPDATE: Spoke to Paul this morning and briefly explained what happened. Please read letter of complaint sent to Colin for a better understanding. Couldn’t be any worse, the dent repaired on the passenger rear door isn’t done properly and I can see on the car where they’ve not covered it up to re spray the door as there’s paint up the side of passenger side front door. Upon collection I expressed this and they said it’s the best they could do once it got taken back to the garage, laughable. I even noticed a scratch on my wing mirror they caused which they temporarily fixed, I would never recommend this company to anyone and can’t believe insurance company’s use this firm. I even called to ask about getting it redone and they wanted to charge as they didn’t believe me. I will take the car to a different firm to get fixed as I know it’ll be done to a good standard. AWFUL DONT USE!!!
