ABS Hand Car Wash

I used to love this place when the Sweedish man was there but in understand his mother was ill and had to go back to Sweeden, left the guys to run it.. wow its really gone down hill. They don't even open your doors to wipe away water!! Nowhere near worth the 8 pounds I won't be going back there.

Very thorough do a good job

Not sure if this place has changed ownership but I’ve been using it for the last 4 years and went today with an extremely grubby car. I returned home to find alloys still dirty, tyres still muddied, windows covered in water marks, mud still on the side steps,sills not wiped so when I opened the doors dirty water dripped off, soap marks still on the front end and tyres not dressed. To say I was disappointed is being polite. If it’s under new ownership then lessons need to be learned, if not, come guys sort it out you have always been better than this.

Absolutely terrible. Paid £65.00 for a full valet. Seats definitely had not been shampooed despite them saying they had, car itself was dirtier than when I took it in and when questioned on it they said that it would need polishing to get the marks off, which apparently isn’t included in their service. Then got in the car and steering wheel still dirty and had not been touched and when asked if they could sort it, it seemed like I was hassling them after paying £65.00 for a half done service.

Fantastic service

Waved their arms at me like I know what they were saying! Shouted at me to stop while backing up even though my car has cameras on every side. Seemed really unhappy I turned up for a simple car wash. Also over charged me by £2. Wash and dry was supposed to be £8.

Have Had numerous cars cleaned for my business (Jct32 Autocentre) Every time as good as the last always a first class job Thankyou so much for a great service !!

Arrived at 16:55… 5 mins before they closed they still washed my vehicle and were happy to help me out as i was due to deliver the vehicle to a customer. Happy, friendly staff.

Great value car wash

DO NOT USE, MULTIPLE THEFT FROM VEHICLES HAVE OCCURRED WHEN CAR LEFT IN THIS CAR WASH HANDS. REPORTED TO POLICE AND EXSCAPE SECURITY HAVE CONFIRMED MULTIPLE THEFTS OCCURRED FROM THEIR SERVICES. POOR WORK ALSO CONDUCTED.

An ok-ish clean, but lacking attention to detail. Didn't even fully clean off some bird poo on my windscreen, and left areas where there was clearly dirt or marks remaining. Also the inside was soaking wet in many areas, not dried properly at all. Overall very half-arsed so I won't go back.

I wished that I had read the reviews before leaving my vehicle with them. I do believe they have changed hands because the professionalism and service were not there. I dropped my car off for a deep clean and full valet because I had just purchased it secondhand and the previous owner had a dog. The guy reckoned he needed it virtually all day! It was raining and not many cars there so I didn’t question it and went off looking around Xscape and Freeport which took about an hour max. I also went to watch a movie and still not a word from him. Four hours later he called to say my car was ready. I paid him the agreed price of £60 as it’s small and asked if everything had been done before leaving. The car was overpoweringly fragrant and had been washed outside and perhaps a light vacuuming inside but that’s all. No polish as it was raining he said, then why charge me for it? I also noticed marks and scratches on the offside hubcap and the near wing mirror hanging off. The guy is very rude and you can’t reason with him. I tried calling his boss and he was out of the country in Sweden for a family funeral. That old chestnut. In short, don’t go there.
