Moonbeam Jet Wash - Leeds Birstall

Not great. Using the service for the first time and followed the instructions. Payment machine has debited my card but wash machine hasnt registered. Customer services have said someone will come to assist but still waiting.

Great service! My car came out spotless, the whole process was quick and professional. Highly recommend!

Visited this car wash after a trip in Land Rover came out really good.

Took payment twice and still nothing. This is scam recommend not to use

I just tried to use the car wash but after paying £10 for 10 mins the machine was not working. The screen was blank with nothing showing regarding wash modes. It was displayed a fault message briefly too.

Its convenient with all the hoses and a good way to get around the hosepipe ban like last year, clearly moonbean gets a special exemption. Osmosis water is just a buzz word I still get swirls on the car, cheaper to go to the car wash next to jd sports and saves time with the same results

AVOID this place. Not only is it very expensive, the blue hose always sprays soapy water. Plus I got a fine for being there too long. Poor

Updated review - I did encounter an issue with parking fines when I took two cars to the car wash but it's looking like the car wash owner has overturned these for me after a bit of a delay. The wash shares the car park with Taco Bell and it seems the company managing Taco Bell's car park didn't realise people were genuinely needing to enter the car park to access washing facilities outside restaurant opening hours. So car wash users were getting slapped with £100 fines. I'd encourage anyone who has incurred fines to get in touch with Rafay (see response to this review for his email address) to get them cancelled or reimbursed. Overall this place was really handy during the Yorkshire hospipe ban. It's a little pricey at £1 per minute but it's a good setup allowing you to get your car washed quickly. I don't trust the hand wash places so always prefer to self wash my car. Thanks for Rafay in making the fines 'go away'.

First time using this jetwash and it is fantastic.

!PLEASE READ URGENT! Incident date 22/11/2025. I was short on time so thought id give Moonbeam a go. Pretty good set up, clean equipment and easy to use although is a little pricey. All good...so I thought. So today I received a £100 parking charge because I allegedly exceeded a a 90min stay in the Taco Bell car park even though the fine states from from 06:34 to 06:53. Yes it was an early start! I am of course going to appeal this as I find that disgusting and can really do without the added stress. Luckily I have proof of transactions from Moonbeam so shows I did use their car wash and not just parked at Taco Bell for over 90mins on a Saturday morning. I'm just letting all you other motorists know, especially this time of year when roads are filthy and you cant be bothered getting the hosepipe out...which i cant because of the ban! So yes, use Moonbeam but not sure how when you get a 100 quid fine each time you go to wash your car there?! Update 12/01/2026 The appeal was unsuccessful even though the owner has responded on here stating will withdraw the charge. I am still contesting this but if you do get a response to state charge will be withdraw keep hold of the email for evidence. I have sent an email to Rafy as requested, let's see what happens.... Update 22/01/2026 Had a letter from the parking company today stating charge has been dropped. I am happy that this has been sorted out just a shame as such alot of messing about when all I wanted to do was something as simple as wash my car 🥲

I had an issue where screen just froze and wasn't responding, so I couldn't change any options. Lost £10, tried calling - no response, emailed twice - no response. Even though price, quality of the snowfoam etc is great, there is lack of any customer service.

£8 later and my car looks exactly the same as when I drove in — maybe slightly wetter, but that’s about it. The wheel cleaner was the only half-decent thing; everything else felt like a scam in liquid form. The snow foam was so thin it looked like my car had been sneezed on. The “active bug remover” clearly took the day off, and the “traffic film remover” might as well have been plain water. Then came the rinse — powered by what I can only assume was a retired jet engine. One wrong move and I’d have been launched into orbit. At £1 per minute, I expected better than what seemed to be a light misting followed by a near-death experience. Save your £8 and just stand outside in the rain — you’ll get the same results, minus the trauma.
