Bubbles and Wax Hand Car Wash

Annoying. Decent wash, but ripped off. I thought the cost was £23, as stated on the signs, for an in and out wash. I was charged £35 because my car was 'very big' (debatable - it's not small for sure, but neither is it a Range Rover) and 'very dirty' (true - it was filthy). But this 'surcharge' was only mentioned after the car had been washed, and is not on any of the signage. I told the guy I had been intending to pay the £23 plus a decent tip because it was filthy, and that for the sake of a few quid I was not going to have an argument with him. I paid the £35 and said I would not visit again. So, I won't. Either steer clear, or make sure you agree the price first.

Visited last week for inside and out, didn't have to wait too long, polite staff, good clean and fair price. Will return for my next wash no doubts!

As others have said on the reviews inconsistent pricing, no clear guide to price. I also found them rude and abrupt when guiding you where to wait almost like a power trip, car still had areas clearly missed I’m not expecting a valet but a to remove the surface dirt, wasn’t even that dirty to start with ! I won’t return ….

You priced for a saloon when I bought my vehicle here which is a hatchback. Your pricing is inconsistent, you usually charge hatchback prices whenever I’ve bought my car down. I was a regular customer but this has put me off using your car wash. I would urge others to avoid this place, this is a serious lack of integrity.

I have been using these guys for years. Very hospitable have a cosy waiting area with Wi-Fi, tea and coffee. They also clean your seats for an extra 5 pound

Went last year with Peugeot 107 ,a very small car, they wanted £30 inside and out, no thanks.

They spent about 10 minutes cleaning the car they didn't do a good job the interior was not clean properly the first time I went went a second time and again depending on what car you have they seem to rate the cleaning on how good your car is if you have a Mercedes and BMW they do a better job anything less than that they seem to miss bits or don't bother cleaning
