Star Shine Hand Car Wash

Too noisy all day. They fill up nearby parking slots. Can be a real nuisance. Chemicals stored in barrels on site and washed into the street. All sales are cash in hand so tax probably not paid appropriately.

Always taken my car here. However, the two staff today 02-05-26 were rude and wash was rushed.

Been using this place for years and last time wasn't fantastic but used it today and drive off when I got home the car was still dirty, I did think at the time they were rushing it and they weren't even busy, my windows were dried with a dirty cloth and there were marks all over the place, won't be going back...

Do not use this car wash at all costs. Car is still filthy and scratched to bits.

If I could give these guys zero stars, I would. Incredibly rude boss and then they were in such a hurry to wash my car that I observed different scratches after. I’m so unhappy about this.

Took a family in members car for a wash and valet today. The car has not received a proper clean in probably years. Within less than an hour it came out sparkling inside & out. Heaven knows how they managed to remove years of grime from the wheels but this they did. As I drove away, I felt I was in a showroom vehicle, and at a very good price too. I'm really impressed, having never had a car valeted before, would've taken me hours & still couldn't have matched the high standards that they achieved. Will certainly be going back there again.

Used them once off as I was quite a long way from my normal car wash. Had the gold wash I guess - in and out. These folks were more expensive than my usual place but the quality of the wash was incredibly inferior. After they said they were done the car visibly still had areas of dirt not washed at the front, windscreen and sunscreen. Fair play to them for correcting but I was way too involved in the cleaning process I effectively became part of the team. Even then the wash did not meet my expectations.

Don’t wash in one direction. Use dirty rags that will leave swirl marks.

Now charging £8 for a small car which is far too high. Not impressed with the standard of cleaning. Had to finish off inside the doors at home. No queue which says it all.
