Excellence car wash

I’m really disappointed with this car wash. About a month ago, I came here and paid £15 for a full service including interior, exterior, and seat cleaning. Today, I came back expecting the same service, but they initially told me it would be £30. I didn’t understand why the price had suddenly doubled with no clear explanation. After I told him I had already been there before and paid £15, he said “no problem” and agreed. But honestly, I didn’t like that at all. Why change the price like that in the first place? It feels inconsistent and unprofessional. I won’t be returning.

Nice and friendly car wash. Did a careful wash and clear pricing displayed. Can be missed if directions are not carefully followed as there is bus lane so the turn may not be easily seen. But once there they helpfully guided where to stop and did a good job.

Excellent service from start to finish. The team was friendly, professional, and paid great attention to detail. My car was cleaned to a very high standard, both inside and out, and it looked almost brand new when they finished. I really appreciated their care, efficiency, and excellent customer service. It’s clear they take pride in their work. I would definitely recommend this car wash to anyone looking for quality service, and I’ll certainly be returning in the future. Guys were very polite. Everything done perfectly. Price was very reasonable. Inside out clean (super valet) was absolutely fantastic.

Always get my car mini valeted from here. They do a great job. Also do window tinting onsite.

I’ve used Excellence Car Wash many times in the past and always found the prices fair and the service decent, so it’s disappointing to leave this review. The employees themselves are friendly and not bad people at all, which is the only reason I’m giving 4/10 instead of lower. Unfortunately, the quality of service has really gone downhill. A basic wash and dry is now £10, which is actually more expensive than Kevin’s Car Wash by around £2, yet the quality doesn’t justify the higher price anymore. The tyre shine barely lasted the 1-minute drive home, and while washing the car they repeatedly hit my diamond-cut alloys and bodywork hard with the jet wash, which is worrying because it can easily cause scratches, swirls, and damage. Which on this occasion it has to my front left alloy & scratch to the body. I didn’t dispute it as it’s not worth the hassle. I have a dash cam front which records the thuds & impacts if the owner would like to see. The drying was also poor — I got home and still had dirt and water marks around the door shuts, boot lid, mirrors, and windows, so I had to finish the job myself. What disappointed me most was seeing employees smoking while washing & drying the car, leaving ash marks on the vehicle and even a smoke smell inside the car afterwards. Overall, very dissatisfied with the service compared to how it used to be. Friendly staff alone can’t make up for rushed work, poor attention to detail, and rising prices.

New management have really upped the quality and standard of this car wash. Good products, even better service and it shows. Will be coming back here regularly.
