I can't thank Barry enough for transforming my car! I took my 2012 Jaguar XF to him to see if he could revive the paintwork. It was covered in swirl marks, minor scratches and slightly different shades of paint from some repaired scuffs and dings. Once it was in his well lit LED unit, it was a horror show, under the bright lights, it showed everything and it looked terrible. I didn't know if Barry would say it was beyond saving but after he closely inspected the car, I was delighted to hear he could get it looking much better with a 3 day paint correction detail. I booked it in for this and added the interior and engine bay options too. I was still worried Barry would hit some roadblocks once he started getting into the deep polishing but this quickly turned into excitement as he kept me updated at the end of each day with an email of the progress. I just went to pick up my car and there it was under those same bright LED lights however this time, it looked like it was in a showroom! It was hard to believe it was the same car that I drove it their. Gone were swirls marks, scratches and different shades of paint, it looked fantastic! It really is miraculous what Barry has achieved. The engine, boot and interior were also immaculate too. There are so many small details I can't list them all, I will be noticing little things for some time that he has transformed. Barry has a passion for his work and it shows in the results. I really glad I've used his services and I'm blown away with the results. It's far beyond what I expected. I will defiantly use him again in the future.

I have used Barry to carry out new car details on a number of my vehicles including my latest addition. The work Barry carries out is superb and his knowledge is incredible. A true professional. Will continue to use and highly recommend.

I have found Barry most helpful and he is doing a Gloss detail for me, yes it is a smaller 1 day job but has still given me the full service and first class treatment so not sure what Liz Boggiano (1star review)is harping on about. Barry is a true professional and will only honestly advise if the work is possible or necessary. From my days in the Police many of my colleagues use Barry and both i and them would not entrust our cars with anyone else. No matter how big or small the job is you get a great finish and a professional service by a honest hard working guy. Well Barry keep up the great work.

Very disappointed by the reaction and attitude. This review is an information guide for anyone looking to take their car for a smaller job here. I made an enquiry with this chap about a year ago and he was most helpful and chatty on the phone when explaining to me how my planned detail would cost in the region of £1500 for what I wanted. He had great reviews but was busy and in the end I took it elsewhere and had my car extensively worked on and coated. I wanted to take my car to this chap for him to look at and spend a day on it doing a maintenance detail and would quite happily have spent the £200 a day or whatever the charge was washing the car and wheels and improving previous work and suggesting a new product or plan. As soon as I asked for a maintenance detail, he became very short and sullen and curt with me and told me I don’t do that and was keen to hang up. This is for potential customers who might be thinking of a smaller job or a follow up job after going elsewhere. This guy appears to only want to work on cars for big expensive jobs and not cars which have been detailed elsewhere. He was a different person to the person I first spoke to. No longer charming and friendly. It’s worth bearing in mind, once you’ve chosen a place to detail your car, you might have to stick to that place and not be able to take it elsewhere. It’s something I hadn’t considered. It’s a bit of a nightmare actually because the previous detailer is totally booked up and can’t fit me in but tells me not to wash it myself and only use dionised water and certain products and methods to clean the car so I’m stuck with a dirty car now. I won’t be bothering detailing my next car. Waste of time and money. My prestige cars looked fine in the 90s before all this nonsense started. It’s left a bad taste in my mouth. So just note this guy doesn’t do maintenance washes. (Well not if you took your car to another business). I don’t believe he wouldn’t do one if he had done the detail and taken £1500 off you. Surely repeat business is what it’s all about.

Barry at Auto Detox completed a Detail on my Fathers Ford Focus Rs Mk3 to a extremely high standard removing unwanted paint defects that my Father pointed out and adding huge amounts of gloss with products that were recommended. He's beaming ear to ear and cannot stop admiring the car with a finish that is now better than showroom condition! Thanks Barry for making my dads pride and joy. Myself and family will sure be back with more cars in the future highly recommend! Barry is very nice guy and massively knowledgeable. Dont hesitate to contact him!

After alot of looking around I came across Auto Detox. I got my car back today after a 3 day detail from Barry and I am speechless as to how good the car looks. From the very first phone call with Barry it was evident that his work is his passion and I wasnt wrong when I saw my car. Everything is explained in detail before any work is carried out. Barry is happy to answer as many questions as you need even in relation to products for aftercare. Excellent service from a great person. Hopefully will see you again soon and will be sending others your way. Just an update some one scratched my car not long after this was done. I called Barry and he was happy to help and fitted me in swiftly. You dont get customer service like this nowadays, what a great guy much appreciated

Had my Mercedes C class done with Barry recently. Starting with Barrys customer service : the man himself goes above and beyond with his informations , feedback and attention to detail . Everyday email with updates on progress so you know whats happening with your motor . Car looked amazing when I picked it up and it still does . The ceramic coating and polish are done spot on . Even little touch ups on paintwork been done with corector . Overall great job and defiantly will be coming back and recommending Barry to all my friends . Cheers , Kamil .

Barry is absolutely brilliant. We have had 4 cars treated there now. And each one looked amazing when Barry had finished with them.

Following discussions with Barry I decided to take my Mercedes SL400 to Autodetox (Cannock) for a complete detox, wheel refurbishment and ceramic coating my vehicle was with him for a week and the results are outstanding gleaming like (or better than) it did five years ago when I collected it from the dealership. Barrie kept me informed of progress on a daily basis and his attention to detail to second to none every nook and cranny has been thoroughly cleaned and the car looks amazing. I have used Barry for 13 years and he has undertaken full detail on all my cars as soon as they are bought as well as my sons and friends. Bear in mind we travel 50 miles to Barry when supposed detailers available within 5 miles. Cleaned my latest car today in January with a citrus spray, snow foam and pressure washer no touching the car resulted in a spotlessly clean car.
