I’ve been to a fair few car washes in my life, never felt the need to complain. As long as my car is clean at the end, I’m happy.. Drove past this place many times and decided to try them out. I opted for the inside and out clean. I do have a dog and the guy noticed some dog hairs on the seat, so was told I’ll have to pay extra. This was no big deal, even though I did think to myself there wasn’t that much dog hair to warrant the amount he was charging me.. Oh well it was a hot day, and I had somewhere to be, so I couldn’t be bothered to dispute it. They finished cleaning my car and my initial thought was, it looked a bit rushed compared to other places I’ve had it done. Again not a big deal, it was a hot day, so I put it down to that. And to be fair it was clean, so I was happy. Now, here’s the issue, I don’t know what the person cleaning the inside did, or what cleaning products they used, but the next day I realised that my cars touchscreen interface is no longer working! At this point I’m soo annoyed as like I said, I’ve been to many car washes and cleaned it myself many times, never had any issues. Safe to say this was my first and last time I’ll ever go to this place and I would never recommend it to anyone. In hindsight I wish I’d gone with the outside clean only, and to be honest after this experience, I’ll probably never choose to have the inside cleaned at a car wash again. Been quoted around £400 to replace it, so this was an expensive mistake. :( Ironically the name of this place is “UK No1 Valeting” turns out this is the worse car wash I’ve ever been to!
