Albion Hand Car Wash

Very very disappointed. £30 for inside and out and the inside was still dirty. Had to ask for the plastic door sill to be cleaned on the drivers side as it was filthy. Chassis door shuts were not cleaned, and cob webs were still in the inside quarter windows. Really poor. Should have given my youngster the £30 and I’d have got a better job. Probably took them 20 minutes and a little puff of back to black. Staff were not at all friendly either with no acknowledgement. Will not be returning, better off getting the £5 wash at IMO up the road and give it a quick clean inside at home.

I had gone to the beach and parked in the car park next to the car wash I was with my disabled partner and my dog , we went to go home and my car had broken down ,I went in to the car wash for help and I couldn’t thank Them enough they was very polite and any thing I neaded they went out of there way to do there best to help in the end it needed a new battery I would like to thank them all for there generosity

would not recommend this place for buying a car or using their services. I purchased a car and soon after the exhaust fell off. It was repaired, but the same issue happened again the following day and I had to return it once more. I was later told it was fixed, but a few weeks afterwards the exhaust started sounding extremely loud again, like a motorbike. When I raised the issue, I was told I had gone over the 3-month warranty period by only a couple of weeks, despite having ongoing problems since shortly after purchase. I was also given conflicting explanations about the repairs, including that something had been cut off during a previous fix, which may have caused the ongoing issues. I was told this was not down to wear and tear, which contradicts what I was previously told. At this point, I sought legal advice. Since then, my messages have not been responded to. Also they give unexpected price changes after the vehicle is cleaned, which was not made clear beforehand. Overall, my experience has been very disappointing, and I would not recommend buying a car or using services here.

I have used this car wash many years. Always kind, helpful, friendly & efficient. Totally thorough & trustworthy. A lovely business.

The guys here are great, my car was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned in 6 months. £30 inside and out car wash brought it back to mint! Definitely become my regular car wash now!

Outside was clean, inside was not very good but I didn't notice until i got home on the passinger side. I was charged for a 4×4 but my car is small so paid £40 but should of been £30

I have been here before and was charged £35 to clean inside and out. There website says 4by4 £35 and when I got there and asked him how much he said £40. I then said why on there website it says £35 and his response was ‘ they haven’t updated the price’ not very good.

Best car vallet ever

I’ve been using Albion since I moved to Worthing. Always prefer to give money to a small business. A few times, the guy who seems to be in charge looks at my car and tells me it’s too dirty and argues to charge me more. I always agree but today really did see the end of my custom. The large price board states: £28 inside and out or £14 exterior wash for a small car. My loyalty card was stamped enough to get my free exterior wash. Worth £14. It took 3 times of asking them to confirm the price before I got an answer out of them. They seemed annoyed at me. £28 for inside and out (small car) is the price that THEY advertise. I have a Kia picanto. The main guy said mine was £30 and the only “small car” was a smart car. Hilarious when the picture on the board actually looks like it might be a picanto. He said £30 should be the price but my free wash will take it to £20. To be honest I didn’t argue, they were busy and I was in a rush. To my calculations £28 - £14 from my stamped loyalty card is £14 but apparently they just make up the prices here. After the exterior the main guy comes back then says he’ll charge me £25 in total as my car was “too dirty”. After reading the rest of the reviews I regret apologising for my dirty car to be cleaned at a car cleaning business. I’ll go elsewhere from now on…

Very friendly staff, quick and efficient service.

Used to be good but the standard has gone down. Dirty clothe marks on the car and also there is a dip in the tarmac as you leave which damaged the underneath of my car. £454 to fix it. I'll be looking elsewhere.

Great car wash, really take their time and so thorough with the clean. I’ve been to all the car washes in the area and this is by far the best, I will be back, thank you 👍🏼

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the car wash service I received. I was the only vehicle being serviced at the time, and I noticed several issues. The use of brushes to clean the vehicle left marks on the paint/vinyl work, which would not happen with microfibre washing mitts and sponges, Additionally, my alloys were still dirty after the wash, as only chemicals and water were used on them. Finally, the vehicle was dried by four individuals, which left marks all over, and no spray was used to clean the windows, leaving them covered in marks as well. It appears the problems I experienced with the service are consistent shortcomings. This is far from what I would expect from a "hand car wash" and is well below the standards of other similar services. I hope to be contacted soon to help resolve this matter.

I don't usually write reviews but I was shocked by the service I had today at Albion. I arrived just before 5:30 and they were shutting at 6. I thought this was enough time to wash my C-Max inside and out. There was only one member of staff around and he looked so frustrated that we'd turned up, he made a comment about that and went to find the other staff. They said it would be 20 mins. When I came back they charged me £40 which I thought was such a lot for a medium sized car but I haven't used a hand car wash for a long time... I paid and drove off to find I could barely see through the smears on my window with the sun shining in and there was dirt I went over with a wipe when I got home. I won't go back. *Edit to add: the website says you charge 28 for a medium-sized car inside and out, 40 for a 4x4. This might need looking at to save other people from complaining.

I have been washing my cars here for many years, these guys always done a great job ,the washing products that they use it’s amazing,the staff is always friendly and professional , I always recommended Albion car wash I would never change it with anywhere else really 👌👌👏👏

I have given this place a go twice. First time just tried outside wash only and the front window was not cleaned properly, it was spotty and not really great. Second time, I asked for a wash inside out, and they did a terrible job. The boot has not been cleaned, back seats had stains on that I had to clean, and outside was not great either. Costed £35 I will never pay again. Absolute let down.
