The Car Wash Company Brighton (Churchill Square)

After seeing the reviews here I was reluctant to take my car there for cleaning but I don't regret it as Elton did a great job on my car. I promised him a good review for the good service, so here it is the well deserved praise. Thanks again!

Paid £35 for the inside of my car to be cleaned and it still looks like this afterwards - would show more pics but will spare you of that. All that’s been cleaned are the carpets. Everything else still looks the same, even the interior still had dust/marks on. I could had done a better job. Bring your prices down or clean the cars properly

Con artists and blaggers. Paid for a platinum car wash, I asked the guy to show me the wax he was going to use so that I could ensure it wasn’t just going to be a spray aqua wax wipe over job, he proceeded to show me the bottle of something that was in the box which showed a resin wax. The guy barely spoke any English which wouldn’t be a problem if he done the job properly. When I returned to pick up car, noticed bird poo not taken off roof, dirt all round lights and boot and door shuts, seats just hoovered a bit, dust all over interior still around steering dirt still around gearstick and handbrake. Also over charged. Generally disappointed! Best to avoid! Sorry but this place is a rip off!

Absolutely appalling service, it was dark in the car park and I was in a rush but when i got home my wheels were filthy still, they hadn’t cleaned the tailgate and there was washing fluid all over the interior. They charged £50 for this “service”. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

Paid £40 inc a tip as from a distance the outside looked clean but inside has hardly been cleaned! Filthy rubber mats still which take 2 mins to clean and make brand new but have clearly been missed,small amounts of rubbish left in doors instead of putting in the bin ! Such a shame as it’s convenient when you go into the mall but will NEVER use again ! Avoid at all costs and go somewhere outside in the natural light

This company asked for £60 to valet our truck. We understood we weren’t having the top valet, however for £60 there shouldn’t be visible large patches of mud on both of the wing mirrors and rear window. Also no elbow grease was used on in the interior, it was very clear to see. Quite a lot of patches were untouched inside the vehicle and I was able to wipe it with a baby wipe and it came off easily, and of course I would’ve preferred not to after paying £60 😔 for a service I thought would clean our vehicle.

Had the gold car wash this morning. Got home to check the boot space and they've barely touched it. It's so obvious they haven't cleaned it it's embarrassing. Avoid this place is my advice. Edit: Did receive an initial email from Toby asking for more details, stating I would receive an emailed voucher. I supplied all of the details but no response, similar experience to others on here.

Absolutely avoid this place. I paid for a full car wash and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The bird droppings were still on the paint after they said the car was finished. I drove straight to another car wash afterwards, and they removed them without any problem with no scratches That tells you everything. The inside of the windscreen and glass were also cleaned terribly. Smears and dirt were left everywhere. The workshop is so dark that they either can’t see what they’ve missed or simply don’t care. The moment you pull the car into daylight, you realise how filthy it still is. They even told me to come back in an hour. When I returned, I found the staff sitting around the corner. As soon as they saw me arriving, they rushed back and started “cleaning” the car again. It felt like they hadn’t even bothered until they knew I was coming. Another red flag: they don’t even use a proper jet wash. For a professional car wash, that’s difficult to understand. Complete waste of money. I felt ripped off, and I definitely won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

Not worth the price. They charge a premium for the convenience of offering the service within the shopping centre. Very poor attention to detail. Would not use. Plenty of other options in the area.

Worst spent £30… I was told that it included a the boot being hoovered and the dashboard being cleaned. The dashboard is dirtier than when I gave it to them. When I politely asked if he could reclean the interior and hoover the boot, pointing out the dirt stuck to my dashboard that was not there before, he raised his voice at me and was incredibly rude, telling me that I should pay £160 if I want it cleaned properly. I shouldn’t have paid, do not use this service. You are better off cleaning it yourself - you will have to anyway.

Rude staff not nice with customers, and i asking for just outside washing which is already expensive but they try to charge me more 5 pounds because a bit dirty that’s ridiculous, never again.

This company doesnt wash your car, they spray it with a wax based cleaner and wipe it down with old dirty cloths. Working in the dark, they are never going to achieve a decent job

Just got my car back, I noticed it was a bit of a shoddy clean inside but was in a rush and needed to get my 5 month baby home. So wasn't checking too much. When I got back I looked again. This is actually by far the worst clean I've ever had! It's criminal. The exterior was cleaned recently anyways and it genuinely looks worse now? How is that possible. Wax and water marks all over it. Dirt everywhere inside. Dust everywhere inside. Windows not clean. Did you even actually bother? £35 quid as well. Wish I noticed the reviews first. I've now had to get the car re cleaned due to the state it's been left.

Absolutely awful job For £25 I expected my car to be at least clean, what an absolute joke. It looks worse than when I took it in and I will have to take it somewhere else to be re-cleaned this afternoon as they did such an awful job. Don’t waste your money. Bird dropping still all over my car, Covered in streaks of what I assume is polish Wheels are still covered in dirt Still muck under the wing mirrors, Exhaust hasn’t been touched and covered in soot (new exhaust fitted last week so can’t be excused as staining)

Paid £35 and my car was still dirty on the outside. The wheels hasn’t been properly cleaned or the outside and still had dirt marks. After leaving the car park my back window wiper snapped off and I wasn’t told about this being broken in the process. Not worth the money - AVOID

Yeah not great... paid £30 and left the car. When I got back it looked like it had had a quick wipe down eith some water... smears here and there, bits of bird poo still on the hood and roof. If I'd paid £15 it would have been fair enough but for £30 this isn't good enough. Won't be using again.

Looks like they ran a cloth over their dirty parts and hoovered for £30 bird poo still on the roof, car still has dirt on it. had to go do it myself the next day the only part that was cleaned properly was the wheels. Very disappointed will not be going there again

Avoid this place, 35 quid for “cleaning” bit they basically just sprayed the car and barely wiped it. Regret not looking at the reviews first. Churchill square should remove this scam from here

Had a good 4 hours to clean our car. When we got back they werent sure if it was finished, didn’t come and check it was finished, said it was finished, could clearly see it was not finished. Wax left on the car, spray residue all over car, not hoovered well, dirty still on outside of car, over all not a very good clean.
