Blue Ocean Hand Car Wash

First time I tried all seemed to be going well until one of the staff broke my back windscreen wiper off then placed it back on and carried on. Luckily I’d been watching and had spotted it otherwise I wouldn’t have known. I got out and looked at it the wiper blade was broken. It had been placed back on but was loose and broken and would have fallen off. I said that I wouldn’t be paying for my car wash as I now had to pay for a new back wiper blade. They agreed. The car wash was great and they were polite. But won’t be using them again due to damage caused which is a shame.

I had my old fiesta valeted today. It was very tired looking, with faded plastic trims and stained seats. The quality of work was so good that my tired fiesta is now looking as good as new. And the staff members were so polite. Big thank you!

Second time using this since it’s been under new management. Worst car wash in Market Harborough. Slap dash. Open doors to jet wash the door trim while you’re still in the car! The ‘leader’ who takes the money is arrogant and always expects a tip.

I would advise anyone not to use this business. I went for the platinum service, considering the list of items they allege to undertake one would think the car would spotless afterwards. I had to show them where they had missed. My alloys still had a film of dirt, they did not clean the body work properly, and the dashboard was supposed to be dressed along with the plastics which had just had a light brush-over, leaving dust and particles everywhere. I would have taken photos but I have cleaned the car myself now. I would say I’ve had a better service for £15 from other places.

Avoid, not worth the money. Despite living on this side of town for over 5 years I’d never used them; tried once and won’t ever go again. Went on a quiet day, and was immediately rushed forwards without being asked what wash I was after. They haphazardly did the outside and, just before finishing off on the other side of the canopy, I decided to roll down my window and shout (over their loud noises) that I wanted the platinum. I was met with an unfriendly tone but told “of course”. I stepped out and they cleaned the inside – though ‘cleaned’ is generous here; the windscreen is all smeared on the inside, the door pockets were not even touched and the car does not smell clean (not like it does when I use their competitors under the train bridge, you know the ones). I suppose their eyes were on the Range Rover behind me, another car to rip off.

The best car wash in town. Very polite workers. Our car was amazingly clean, inside and out. Spotless cleaning and brilliant customer service. Definitely recommend it.
