Have given this place another chance several times over the past few years but the same issues recur. * Different fee to that on their board (higher and much more than other wave car washes eg handforth/wilmslow) * only accepts cash with no receipt (Supposed to be able to use clubcard etc) * unfriendly staff especially the main guy * long wait times (so people are using it?) * Mediocre finish (despite high fee in cash)

Excellent car wash! The staff are friendly and professional, and my car looks spotless every time. Fast service, great attention to detail. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable car wash!

I've been here a load of times and it really depends on the guy who is on for prices. I've been there with a volume 3 car each time but been charged for volume 4 a few times. I checked my licence plate on the website and it is a volume 3. But I always paid and tipped. The last time I was charged for a 4 volume I had been to the car wash two weeks before and it wasn't particularly dirty but I needed it to look fresh for a funeral I was going to. Also I don't have any pets so there's no pet hair in my car. But I was still charged for a volume 4. My mum has been multiple times too and has a volume 2 car (Sometimes her car is an absolute state but she's always charged the same price). She mentioned she likes the air freshener and I told her I've never had one and didn't even know they did that. (We get the same package but different costs because of volume). I can't fault the cleaning though. It's spotless when either of us go. It's just being charged for a bigger car than I have really isn't fair.

This car wash did an amazing job—my car looks brand new! The staff was friendly, quick, and paid great attention to detail. They didn’t miss a single spot, inside or out. Definitely coming back and highly recommend to anyone who wants their car shining like it just left the showroom! Deserve for waves hand car wash

Had a good valet was outstanding both inside and outside came up brand new and there coat it polish has left a fantastic finish in the car thanks you guys good job

Destroyed my car do not use!! Took the paintwork off one panel of my car and didn’t even bother to tell me! Dreadful service…. You can actually see the paint on the floor after they finished cleaning….: furthermore I can categorically say this car has NEVER been painted or sprayed…. It was damaged at Waves…. Not only that they didn’t even have the decency to tell me, they charged me full price !!

£50 for an inside and out clean of a small hatchback.

Not impressed with the clean. Everything looks clean on picking it up - and smells clean. But that's because it's sopping wet and the car soap hasn't been washed out of the surfaces - tons of soap left over in the boot I will have to clean out. Get into it the next day and you can see it's barely been wiped, let alone cleaned, and there are stains from the products used everywhere. Bar the dog hair removal, which was decent, it looks dirtier now than when it went in. Given I was upsold a premium service that 'took 2 hours', it's not up to scratch really - probably took 20 mins. Will need to be valeted again.

Can't fault the service one bit. I gave my car to them in a complete state and when I returned it looked brand new. The insides were filthy and it was spotless. Also great customer service and friendly staff working hard.

Good clean but I’m a bit confused by the pricing and feel like I was lied to - last time I visited (less than a month ago) it was £30 for outside and inside valet. Today when choosing which level I wanted I was told that the pricing had changed (although nothing to advise of this anywhere, signage still said £30) and it would be £50, but said he would do it for £40. Then he asked if I have a dog (I do) and was told it was normally another £20 on top of this but he would do it for £50 total. Felt like he was plucking figures out of thin air in hindsight and if you’re going to change your pricing by such large amounts it should really be advertised, and now thinking about it I shouldn’t have believed a word he said. £50 is extortionate for less than an hours work, won’t be going back.
