Wouldn’t recommend coming here to send a parcel. This is the first time I’ve ever been verbally shouted at over a counter, I had given the man over the till my parcel to send and he didn’t respond saying anything for quite a while so I presumed it had been done. I also wanted to buy another item from behind the counter so asked politely if I could add that as well whilst I was waiting and his response was unclear and said he’s busy sending an email. I said ‘yes thank you, is it ok if I also buy this’ and he shouted in my face, waving his hands at me and shoving the item I wanted to buy at me. I said ‘excuse me please don’t shout sorry I can’t understand what the issue is’ and he said I was ‘dictating him’ and continued to loudly shout at me and usher me away from the shop. Easily the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, as someone who has worked in this situation before I fully understand this could have been a simple communication issue but shouting and excessive rude behaviour was completely unnecessary and escalated a calm situation to someone who wanted to buy something from you. I was there on my own with no one else in the shop and felt extremely uncomfortable - never coming here again.

Petrol, Diesel, LPG, ATM and a small shop. I didn't look around the shop, but glimpsed at some fresh samosas on my way out - they looked delicious.

Went to fill adblue was refused because of colour discrepancy of vehicle with staff who were very rude. Colour of vehicle irrelevant to needing adblue!

They not take payment by card after 7pm ...

Went in to post a Relay parcel, stood in line and waited, when it got to my turn the staff member was incredibly rude telling me I had to wait until there was no other customers as they're a garage not a parcel place (why offer the service if you're going to have a problem with it?) I waited for him to serve 3 people. When there was no one left in line and he was processing my parcel he continued complaining about the parcel service like it was my personal fault, made me feel bad for going there to use it etc. After that was done I thanked him and then I asked if there was an inpost lockers, he told me I had to wait for him to serve the people who had turned up behind me, when I was just literally asking where the locker was. Couldn't have been worse service, needless to say I won't be using this garage for parcels or petrol again!

He then told me to simply go away by shooing me with his hand..so rude and disrespectful. The shop must get paid for parcels. I wouldn't advise anyone to.send here

Good

Went to fill LPG safefill gas bottle. This station does it as it should be done. Checked that it was actually a safefill bottle I was refilling then trusted the safefill brand which does what it says on the tin. Most bp franchises put a blanket ban on all bottles, so hats off to riverside!

The old guy that works in here is incredibly rude. He will prioritise people paying for fuel over anyone else in the store. He is incredibly abrasive and rude and acts as though he can’t be bothered half the time
