Tesco Jet Wash

If you’re smart with how you wash your car, you can only spend £2 and get your car cleaaan. This is what I do: I take my own cleaning equipment with me. This includes a bucket, a 5L water bottle, wheel cleaner, a microfibre wash mitt, wax and some car shampoo. I pour the water into the bucket and then pour in some car shampoo, mix it with the mitt and then proceed to wash my car with the mitt. DON’T use the brush that Tesco provides - it will scratch your car and cause you mental anguish. I use my wheel cleaner spray and use the brush provided by Tesco ONLY on the wheels (not body - unless you want the scratches to depress you). After all this, I use the cold rinse water spray option which is £2 for 5 minutes. That’s more than enough time for a small to medium sized car. This all takes about 10 minutes. I then drive out and park opposite the residential blocks facing the petrol station and wipe the car down with wax. Cons: Be prepared to wait. On a weekend, there will be a line of cars waiting and people can get impatient. Don’t mind them though, if they get too annoying just spray them with the jet wash. Do the waxing afterwards. If there are 2-3 cars in front of you, it’s gonna be a 20-30 minute wait. That said, I’ve waited around that long at a paid hand car wash that charges £10 for a shoddy cleaning job.

UPDATE ON GOOGLE MAPS - Drove 45 mins to get here & it’s closed

It's always out of order, I've only managed to use it once in the last month or so. They told me it would get fixed in a couple of days and when I went there next week it was still out of order. Also shampoo quality is not good, brush is terrible.

Jet wash is broken, and not updated on google

Location is good, the shampoo is thick and not watered down. Wait time is usually high, sometimes up to 45 min.

Wasted £4 don't go foam doesn't work

Had to drive nearly 30 minutes to get here as basically no jet washes in central London... But was closed / out of service

Amazing ! Used this for first time. Happy with what expected. But, you need to be quick as other cars will be waiting and time running out. I used 2 pound for 4 mins pre foam and pre wash. You can use any service within 4mins. 1 min pre wash 2 min foam and 1 min post wash. As it was first time I spent 4 pounds for total clean wash. Air wasn’t working, but paid already so used screen wash. 16/5/25 4.pm

Beat place to wash your car by your self . Cheap and best. £2 only

Great machine. £2 for 5 mins. Always busy as it is a good spot😀
