I contacted the dealer about a Lexus RX. The seller answered my questions and provided pictures, and because I live around 300 miles away we agreed the car could be delivered. Everything seemed fine until the payment stage. I was asked to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit upfront, with the rest due when the car arrived. For my peace of mind I asked to have the terms written down, after refusing, deposit was reduced to £500 plus £450 delivery — still with nothing in writing. At that point I decided to walk away. I do not doubt that the car was in excellent condition, but the customer service was very poor

I recently purchased a Mercedes C-Class from Mayfair Motor Solutions, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the moment I first enquired about the car to the day I drove it home, everything was handled with professionalism, transparency, and genuine care. Hanish , I dealt with was absolutely outstanding — truly one of the most helpful and hardworking people I’ve come across in the motor trade. He took the time to explain everything clearly from start to finish, without any pressure or rushed decisions. He really went above and beyond to make sure I understood every detail about the car, its features, and the buying process. What really stood out was how patient and accommodating he was. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, and he made sure I felt completely comfortable and confident before making any decisions. He also kept in touch throughout the process, keeping me updated at every stage — whether it was regarding paperwork, preparation of the car, or collection details. That level of communication made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The car itself was presented in immaculate condition, exactly as described, and you could tell that Mayfair Motor Solutions takes great pride in the quality of the vehicles they sell. The handover was done professionally, and everything was explained in detail, from the car’s features to warranty and aftercare advice. Overall, my experience with Mayfair Motor Solutions has been first-class. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a high-quality car with honest, friendly, and reliable service. A big thank you again to Hanish and the entire team for making this such a positive and enjoyable experience. I absolutely love my new Mercedes C-Class and will definitely return to Mayfair Motor Solutions for future purchases.

UPDATE 23/07/2026 I have been contacted by Mayfair Motor Solutions and insulted for leaving this review. UPDATE 24/07/2026 Mayfair Motor Solutions have tried (and not succeeded) to falsely flag my review as defamatory on Trust Pilot in order to hide my review. --------------------------------------------------------------- Bought a car from these guys back in November, delivered to me. Car had major issues from day one. How on earth they didn't hear it on the long drive here is beyond me. The rear diff was on its way out (metal shavings in the oil, could hear it at speed), and the fuel filler flap was broken. Got it independently checked by an Audi specialist who quoted £8.5k to fix properly. Tried to reject the car under my consumer rights (well within the 30 day window) and they point blank refused to give me a full refund. Kept trying to knock money off for "admin fees", mileage, warranty costs, you name it - none of which they're legally allowed to do when a car is faulty. Wouldn't even refund the delivery fee. At one point they tried to get me to sign some dodgy disclaimer basically waiving my rights. Ended up letting them try to repair it after weeks of back and forth, mainly because I was exhausted arguing with them. Car was gone for over 6 weeks. First time they gave it back, the exact same vibration was still there - they clearly hadn't fixed anything and I refused to accept it. Second attempt, they've "fixed" the fuel filler issue by just removing a valve rather than actually replacing the tank properly, so there's now a risk of water getting in when it rains or you wash the car. Throughout all of this the communication was painful, they contradicted themselves, and pushed back on stuff that's pretty clearly covered by consumer law. Not that I'd recommend using these guys but if you're buying from these guys, especially without seeing the car in person first, get everything in writing and check every term they ask you to sign. But even then know that they don't care about the law. Car has since developed other faults. Do not use these dodgy dealers.

Not the greatest experience, however after faults from both parties vehicle return and finance settled. Dealership keep more money that I hope. But hopefully issue resolved, and I can look elsewhere.

Just bought a BMWi3 from here …. Fabulous car, great communication. I was a bit wary about buying the car without seeing it so popped down to London from Manchester … no need to worry, it’s perfect. Thankyou to all the staff at Mayfair Motor Solutions for your help.

Showed up for a test drive appointment, took 20 minutes to drive. Turned out there’s a fee if you don’t buy the car. Sales people were rude. You’d think people would take care of you when buying an expensive car, turns out they’re as rude as can be. Don’t bother with these people.

Now that the matter has finally been resolved, I can share my honest experience. My experience with this dealership, from the sales process to the vehicle itself and everything that followed, has been absolutely horrible. I bought a BMW 335d from them and it became a nightmare almost straight away. I had travelled a long way to collect the car, and after driving only a couple of miles from the dealership I got a low tyre pressure warning. I assumed the car had maybe been standing for a while and had just lost some air, but I still had to drive home. After getting it checked properly, I found out there was a serious cut on the inner sidewall of the tyre. I had unknowingly driven nearly 200 miles home with the tyre in that condition. Within days, the check engine light came on and there were issues relating to the MAF sensor. Shortly after purchase, steering play was identified, the battery died within the first couple of weeks, one of the parking sensors failed, and I ended up spending my own money on rear tyres, rear brakes, a battery and servicing just trying to keep the car in decent condition. The car was clearly polished up when I bought it, so some scratches and marks were not as obvious at first. After normal use and weather, more bodywork issues started showing. The paint around the rear arch started cracking, the area felt uneven and looked like it may have had filler used previously, and the rear bumper had clear signs of being resprayed, including paint runs. BMW later inspected the car and found multiple faults, quoting £7,262.67 for urgent repair work, which was over half of what I paid for the car. An independent DEKRA inspection was then carried out, and that report concluded that the vehicle was not of satisfactory quality at the point of sale and that a number of faults were likely already present or developing when the car was supplied. The faults included oil leaks from the engine, gearbox and transfer box, worn suspension components, handbrake cable issues and other defects. It honestly felt like the car was leaking from every place possible. The warranty that came with the car also gave me no real confidence. On paper, things may look covered, but in practice it was a nightmare trying to get anywhere with it. A lot of garages were not interested in dealing with warranty work, and it felt like even if something was technically covered, actually getting it sorted properly was a completely different story. The dealership was very unprofessional throughout. The sales experience felt unprofessional, the way they handled my concerns was unprofessional, and the way they dealt with the faults afterwards was even worse. Instead of properly supporting me, they disputed the findings, refused to properly accept responsibility, and seemed to avoid dealing with the situation as much as possible. At one point, I was told the car would be going to a BMW specialist, but the address provided did not appear to be an official BMW dealership and looked nothing like what had been suggested. In the end, the dealer did not commit to fixing the car properly. The finance company had to step in, take the vehicle back, release me from the finance agreement, and deal with the dealership separately through their own legal process. That says enough about how poor and unhelpful this dealership was. The whole process caused me a lot of stress, wasted time, money and unnecessary hassle. I genuinely loved the car, but I completely lost confidence in it because of the number of issues and the way everything was handled. I also noticed that strong negative Google reviews seem to disappear after a few days, while the positive ones stay up. I have been watching the reviews for a while, and it definitely made me question what was going on. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone to be very careful before buying from this dealership. If you do buy from them, get a proper independent inspection immediately and do not rely on how the car looks on the forecourt.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Mayfair Motor Solutions and would strongly advise others to exercise caution before purchasing a vehicle from them. Shortly after buying my car, I began noticing multiple serious issues that should have been identified and addressed prior to sale. The vehicle has leaking shocks, buckled wheels, and worn brake arms. These faults are not minor — they significantly affect the safety and drivability of the car. In particular, the worn brake components cause the steering wheel to shake noticeably whenever the brakes are applied, which is both alarming and dangerous. To make matters worse, the car was sold to me with heavily tinted windows. I was explicitly told by the company that the tints were fully legal. This turned out to be completely untrue. I was subsequently fined £50 and had to remove the tints at my own expense. This is not only misleading but also demonstrates a lack of responsibility and honesty. I have made several attempts to contact Mayfair Motor Solutions to resolve these issues, but my concerns have been consistently dismissed. There has been no meaningful effort to take accountability or offer a solution, which is incredibly frustrating as a customer who trusted them. Overall, this has been a very negative experience. The condition of the vehicle, combined with poor customer service and misleading information, reflects badly on the company. I would not recommend Mayfair Motor Solutions based on my experience. - Ali

Bought my Audi here and buyer experience was great, but don’t expect any help if something goes wrong after purchase!!! A few weeks before the 6 month warranty was due to end the car started having serious issues (EML light on, coolants leaks). Over the following weeks I rang numerous times to understand how the warranty claim process worked - each time they told me their systems were down and someone would phone me back, which of course they never did. This pushed me out of the 6 months warranty/consumer rights period and seemed very much purposeful to avoid them having to take any responsibility!!! (The consumer rights act means the dealership at the very least has to diagnose and prove the car wasn’t sold faulty if faults occur within the first 6 months). Once they finally communicated with me after I made a complaint to the finance company they were very argumentative via email and over the phone, stating it was my fault because the vehicle had not been serviced on time and the mileage I had done (it had been serviced as per the onboard Audi service schedule) and was totally irrelevant to the faults occurring as they were not general wear and tear issues. Because the repairs needed were in the thousands (new inlet manifold & whole coolant system) they offered me a potential goodwill gesture contribution towards the costs and told me to contact them with the invoice once I had the work completed. I provided this via email and I have made numerous attempts to follow up for a response and their ‘goodwill contribution’…but still nothing…. I am now left with a car that still has faults after spending over a third of it’s original value in repair costs….
