I took my car here for a standard wash and inside clean only. Unfortunately, the service was very poor. The staff were very rude and seemed only interested in taking more money from customers. The normal inside and outside wash is advertised at £18. I was asked if I wanted the seats valeted and I clearly said no, but I was still charged £25 anyway. The car was not washed properly, the door shuts were still dirty, the interior was not hoovered properly, and the car mats were not cleaned or vacuumed. The windscreen and windows were also left dirty. Overall, very disappointing service, poor quality work, and rude customer service. I would not recommend this place.

This was not good at all, both regarding the service and the price. I asked about the mini valet versus a normal inside/outside clean - it seemed clear from the prices on their board that the difference for a hatchback was £18 v £25 but the guy tried to charge me £35 for a mini valet as if it was a big car. I said forget it then just do the normal clean for £18 and he said ok I will do the mini valet for £30. I should have stuck to my guns and insisted on £25 but the car needed a really good clean inside and he said they would do a good job, would foam the chairs and would take their time. That turned out to be such a con job - I sat watching them and didn't see any foam or any extra time taken - all they did was the basic inside clean you expect from a standard service, but without any of the time, care and attention to detail I used to get from Tony's Best Hand Car Wash in New Barnet before it shut down. I saw no evidence of foam being used on the upholstery at all - they just sprayed the seats with the same liquid they used for all other surfaces. Literally after no more than a few minutes they said the job was done - I then had to point out all the basic stuff they hadn't done - hadn't properly dried the outside of the car, hadn't vacuumed the door pockets, hadn't cleaned the window button consoles which had dust in them, had put the floor mats back in the car dripping wet and had only jet washed them with water not actually cleaned them, hadn't vacuumed the boot at all. I could go on listing all the things they hadn't done in this supposed "mini valet" - they then spent a couple of minutes half heartedly addressing my concerns, at which point I gave up and paid them and left. This was a very disappointing service - I don't mind paying extra for a "mini valet" if that is what it actually is, but this was nothing of the sort. Just a means for them to extract another £12 out of a customer while doing nothing to earn it. More fool me I suppose, except for the fact that had they done a good job I would have taken both our cars there every week now that Tony's has shut down in New Barnet, but I won't be going back to these guys EVER AGAIN. So I guess they are the ones who have missed out on hundreds of pounds of my custom just because they are lazy and try to con their customers.

Unfortunately they didn't clean my car to standards, I had to keep asking them to wipe areas they had missed, it was a quite day and they still rushed to clean the car so I can only imagine on a busier day.

This review is being left because the behaviour I overheard from staff here was extremely disturbing and completely unacceptable. While I was at Whetstone Hand Car Wash & Full Valet, Ltd, I overheard the workers making sexualised comments about a group of girls whose car they were washing. The girls appeared to be around 17-18 years old, and the workers making the remarks were clearly much older men. They were openly talking about the girls' bodies, saying things like they all had "big bums," and laughing about it between themselves. It didn't stop there. The workers were also discussing which one of the girls was "the best looking," essentially ranking them while they were working on the car. The fact that employees felt comfortable enough to openly objectify and talk about young customers like this in a workplace setting is deeply concerning. This kind of behaviour is not only unprofessional but raises serious concerns about the culture and standards being tolerated at this business. Customers, especially young women and teenagers - should not have to worry about being sexualised or talked about by staff while simply trying to use a service. Management needs to urgently address the conduct of their employees. Situations like this deserve to be taken seriously because behaviour like is disgusting.

That's £20 down the drain. Poor car wash for one that is hidden away I expected better service. Lesson learnt don't cheat on your barber or your regular car wash ^_^

Very disappointed with the service. The car wasn't washed properly which can be visible on the video and I had to ask my neighbour to rewash it for me. I specifically asked for wax and polish to get the sap off but the staff pretended they couldn't understand me. They charged me £10 and sent me on my way as quickly as they could, when I was prepared to pay more to get it done properly. Just another car wash that will dismiss a female customer. It's so difficult to find a place that want to do a good job. Such a shame.

A joke. Asked for 100 pounds for an inside clean of a Toyota auris that wasn't that bad. Literally a vacum and a wash.

They did a good job washing my car!! Quick and efficient! Its a little tricky getting in as its not the biggest place but we'll worth going !

I was very disappointed with the service. The staff rushed through the job and didn’t clean the car properly. I paid for a full inside-and-out clean, but several areas were left dirty and clearly hadn’t even been wiped. When I raised my concerns, the staff simply said it was an “express clean.” Honestly, you can get a much better clean for £20 elsewhere. The location also isn’t great — it’s quite a struggle to get in and out.
