Very poor attitude from staff member Mishel and manager Nelson at this service station. Shell and SGN Retail should really address this situation, as the negative reviews clearly show this has been an ongoing issue for some time. They refused to accept their own car wash loyalty card, initially claiming that it was “a different car wash” and “a different company.” When challenged - given that the SGN branding is still present on the coupon, staff uniforms, and car wash signage - they then stated that the “promotion is over.” There was no communication, no signage, and no expiry date indicated on the card or in the terms and conditions. I paid for that loyalty card in good faith. A promotion cannot simply be withdrawn without notice. This raises concerns that could be relevant for Trading Standards. They chose to argue over a free car wash that had already been earned through loyalty, and instead made me feel as though I was at fault. Manager Nelson made no effort to resolve the issue. All of this resulted in wasted time: parking, going inside, and ultimately receiving incorrect information from staff, including during a follow-up phone call the next day. At this stage, I am unsure whether I will return. The service and overall attitude were disappointing.

Only once service works and not good enough as your wheels don't get cleaned

Only been in here a couple times and liked the variety (prices not so much) but ladies were lovely and younger gent doing tills & hot food were helpful no matter how early in the AMs. This man however is completely miserable, ignorant & rude, there’s always one to ruin the vibe. Sunday at 6:28am, their opening time on the door? 6:00am. Automatic Doors are locked and not moving so I gently knocked for a few minutes as I could hear noises inside and hoped to get a response - Instead he blatantly ignores me even when made eye contact and just carries on like no one was there. I don’t understand how inconsiderate you have to be to not even have the courtesy to let customers know “sorry not open yet” or “we’re opening late today because obviously I wanna take my time” to ignore me like that is insane whilst doing a customer service job. !!STOP!! allowing friends & family hires to take over a place if they have no basic manners or people skills. Same can be said for the P Office some doors down also Russell Lane. And Tesco Express further up. Closing early and pretending they don’t see you. Check all their reviews. This neighbourhood is too nice for that behaviour. Extremely disrespectful and I hope to never encounter him or this again

I usually send my Vinted parcels to this petrol station . As a busy working mum of 1 year old I am never at home . One of the shop assistants - an Asian guy in his late 50s is extremely rude . On many occasions I collected my parcels , he refused to serve me and made me wait aside while he served petrol paying customers first . Last time he did that he served another customer collecting parcels , while he made me wait aside although I was there first … . He always answers my questions in an angry dismissive manner and treats me in condescending way . If you can send your parcels somewhere else , please do so as this petrol station has rude customer service who treat people like nuisance .

Went to get petrol stepped back and caught my foot on metal sticking out of the curb where pump is after waiting a few minutes for staff to appear from the back I informed her and she just said ok which isn’t a great response I’ve added photos as looks like a it’s been repaired before but badly hence me catching my foot on it I also tried to complete on line form but won’t let you submit without a phone number but doesn’t accept a mobile or a landline that I tried very frustrating

Made an Uber order from here which is meant to be 24hrs, 5 drivers wemt there and were all turned away. Tried calling the garage and the phone was just being ignored and would then hang up. Do not order any 24hrs delivery from here as you won't receive it. The main company should REALLY look into this store more closely. Even Uber have now put a bad mark against it. They are still taking orders now at 01.28 but it states temporarily closed on the Internet. Absolute joke when we have waited for nearly 2 hours for a delivery from them. I would give zero stars if I could
