Great placed petrol station friendly staff and great car wash

Got charged £100 parking fine, free parking is only for half an hour, I washed my car, fuel up and bought a sandwich, and that's enough to get fine, that's clearly a scam,

Excellent experience at Texaco with Subway! Stopped by this Texaco station and was really impressed. The fuel service was quick and efficient, and the station was clean and well-maintained. What made it even better was the Subway inside — fresh cookies, friendly staff, and fast service. It’s a perfect place for a quick fuel stop and a tasty meal. The staff were polite, and the overall environment felt safe and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone traveling or needing a convenient break! Will definitely visit again.

The staff could be more attentive to needs. Pricing is a little steep but fact only 24 hr location in area - no choice i😭

29/10/25 My mother went to buy 2 x 4 pints of milk, was charged for 3. My mother raised this issue with the person on the till, he denied overcharging her despite her showing the receipt to him. He would have been too happy for her to walk off being overcharged. He eventually accepted that he had overcharged her and with an attitude and very begrudgingly, he gave her money back. Her bag broke and he refused to give her another bag. His English was very poor. Upon reflection, I'm not surprised that he seemed irritated that he had to give my mother her money back after over charging her because some years ago during a job interview at this very petrol garage, I was casually informed by the owners (husband and wife) that when there is a theft, they garnish the loss from the staff so moral is probably low unless he is a cousin and maybe he doesn't need to care about being fired.

Reneged on the 'free' fourth car wash, second time they have tried this. If you don't want to fulfill this, don't advertise it. Another local who will never go there again, I'd rather drive ten miles out of the way than use this place. Con merchants. Would leave zero stars if I could.

Poor service, toilets out of order and wouldn't let an 83yr old lady use the staff loo, made her walk all the way to the cold public ones

Went for a subway whilst holidaying in the area. Came home to a £60 parking fine. Appealed but had no evidence as I paid cash. Wouldn't have happened had I not been in queue for 20 mins plus. Expensive sandwich. Won't be back next year.

Washed my car there with the bronze package and the car looks exactly the same after the wash, nothing still dusty like it was

Ideal location, car wash is excellent only one local to me now they seem to be like dinosaurs (extinct)
