Waves Hand Car Wash Shoreham-by-sea

I knew my car would be a job to do and wasn't expecting it to be perfect as my dog had covered the back in mud. Was told it would be a platinum clean which I agreed too as it was filthy, outside was amazing, lovely shine and lovely clear windows but back had not been touched apart from a light hoover, mud still over plastic interiors, seat belts and buckles not touched, not hoovered properly throughout. I did get chance to throughly check. Like I said I didn't expect it to be great but didn't expect It not to be touched. Will not use again 😔😔

Shocking cleaning. I asked for the interior rear cab of my van to be cleaned as well as door shuts and exterior. They just blasted the inside with a pressure washer and shifted all the muck from the back in to the front. Vehicle was not wiped dry afterwards so was left smeared and pools of mucky water were left inside the side door as well as water spray on the seats, dashboard and elsewhere. Awful. Cannot recommend.

Did a good job on my car, nicely waxed, reasonable pricing, friendly manager.

Had a great experience today. Was greeted by a very friendly guy who looked over my car and discussed price with me. Car was cleaned both inside and out to a very good standard. Thank you

Rude, scamming cowboys. The dog had got some mud on the trim inside so I asked which clean would be best. Looked in the car, telling me how dirty it was (who takes a clean car to the car wash???) and then made up a price on the spot that was far higher and didn’t correspond to anything on their price board. When I queried, he said they add surcharges. Absolute cowboys and no way I would ever give them my money. Wasted my time and were seriously rude about it.

Got the bronze (basic wash) as only wanted exterior done. Charged the 3rd price bracket for no good reason. Car needed washing but it's a small car. Wasn't especially clean. Not impressed.. won't be back.

I have been using this car wash for few years now and what service. Always brilliant job and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this car wash

Took the car to be cleaned, the price was quoted £25, when I can back oh it’s £30 as it’s a big car! It’s a small car, be warned, felt scammed! Also found scratch marks in the inside but cannot be sure. will never use again.

External wash only, paid the higher price for wax, definitely no wax was applied, I got a basic wash. Noticed patches of the car unclean / polished when I got home. Had to finish the job myself. They were busy and obviously did a 'rush job'. No attention to detail or care taken to make sure it was finished.

I use Waves regularly even though they are not local, as it is hard to find a company I trust to do a good job. I’m am always happy with the results. Thanks everybody :)

AVOID rude staff don’t give a damn

Really poor sales and service. I've just been here for a clean inside and out. They quoted me £5 more than the going rate because 'the car is dirty'. If I wasn't prepared to pay the extra, I'd have to pay the next up premium rate. I've just gone down the road and had it done for £30. Can't believe a car wash is only prepared to clean cars that have already been cleaned. Ridiculous.

Wanted to charge almost 40% more than the maximum price as my car was “too dirty” I was willing to pay more than the maximum even though it’s not the largest type of car due to it needing a good hoover but not that much. Didn’t even want the full service.

3rd time getting my car cleaned here. First two time the car was cleaned amazingly inside and out, 5 star service. But Today was just not great, inside was lovely but didn’t feel amazing and the outside was like it had been quickly wiped over no effort at all, I even question if it had been done. Its a very 50/50 service, if you get someone who’s happy and cheery your on to a winner and your cars going to look fantastic but if not your better off doing it yourself 😂

Amazing job for a good price! Cleaned my car inside-out and was spotless. They even managed to get off this sticky residue my learner plates left on the front of my car, I tired everything and I couldn’t get rid of it, but they managed to :) Definitely recommend.

Left my car to be cleaned in and out. Come back to chipped and cracked screen where they knocked my dash cam with such force part of the glass still on the camera fixing plate. Best bit was that 4hrs of video footage suddenly disappeared when I tried to view the footage. No call, no response or apology. Had to claim on my insurance. Never again.

I visited this car wash recently and decided not to use it. A foreign gentleman wearing a “manager” T-shirt was so unfriendly and abrupt I took my custom elsewhere. Also he quoted £16 just to clean the outside of my car ! Most expensive car wash in the area! I only have a little hatchback too.

Great staff, great service, never go anywhere else
