Devils in the Detail

Claims to be a 24/7 business, but apparently gets offended when you call at 2am. I had a customer throw up in my car on a busy Saturday night, so I called this “24/7” service for help. The guy answered with “you do know it’s 2 in the morning?” before immediately hanging up on me. Half an hour later he sent an apology text saying he was “shocked” by the time I called, which is strange considering the business is listed as 24/7 and the contact number provided is his personal mobile. What really earned the 1 star review though was the quote: £295 for a cleaning job that another company completed the next morning for £35. He also offered to do it for £155 “in the morning,” which still felt ridiculous. If you advertise 24/7, answer professionally at 24/7 hours. And if you’re charging nearly £300 for a sick cleanup, at least pretend not to be running a hostage negotiation.

Had the interior of our car cleaned, shampooed and vacuumed on Sunday. The car looked so clean and shiny, and it also smelt amazing. Would highly recommend Devils in the Detail and use their services again!
