I recently visited the MFG Car Wash Centre on Chester Road in Stretford and was really impressed with the whole experience. This is part of the UK-wide network of MFG car wash facilities, offering a range of services from powerful jet washes to vacuums, air and water stations everything you need to get your vehicle looking great before heading off again.  The layout is really practical. It’s easy to access straight off the main road next to the EV charging hub and Greggs, so while your car gets thoroughly cleaned, you can walk over for a bite or coffee. It’s ideal if you’re doing more than one thing in that area — charge your EV, grab a snack, then give your car a spotless finish.  The jet wash pressure is strong and consistent, and the vacuums are spacious and easy to use. I appreciated how well maintained the machines were, and the whole site feels clean and welcoming. It gives you confidence that you’re not just paying for a quick rinse but a proper wash that gets dirt and road grime off effectively.  The whole process was smooth and straightforward payment was quick and the service did exactly what it promises. I left with my car really looking sharp and feeling refreshed. For anyone in Manchester looking for a reliable, easy car wash while you’re out and about, this place ticks all the boxes. Would definitely recommend and will be returning next time my car needs a deep clean!

This jetwash is located in the MFG Electric Charging Station. There are 3 bays for jet washing cars as well as hoover facilities. The prices start from £4 for 4 minutes (this is a recent increase as it used to be £2 for 4 minutes) and only contactless is accepted at the payment terminal. The jetwash offers cold shampoo, foam and wax. There is also a hot brush for use. I'm not sure what the operation times are for the jet wash as it was closed at 19:15. It'll also be closed if the weather is below freezing. I think it's open from 9am There is ANPR cameras here and unless you register your car before you use the facilities, you can only stay for 30 minutes so make sure to time yourself to avoid parking fines. Signage is very clear on this. Only criticism is that the foam shampoo runs out quickly in the machine and needs topping up. The shop and facilities are short staffed so bear that in mind.
