Shine Hand Car Wash

I had an issue here around 2.5 years ago. There was a tilak mark on my car bonnet, and while removing it they used a strong chemical which took off some of the clear coat. At that time, they didn’t accept it and said the damage was already there, even though I had just bought the car and had proof from the trader. That part was disappointing, mainly because there was no acceptance or apology. But I also want to be fair. Since then, I have continued using their service regularly, and honestly their car cleaning is still one of the best in the area. I’ve tried other places, but the quality here is better. Mistakes can happen, and this was in the past. Overall, they do a very good job, and I still recommend them for their cleaning service.

Cheap price for a standard (outside) car wash - £7. The guys who wash the cars are thorough. People with all sorts of cars bring it here, from: Lamborghinis, porsche's, BMW's, Volkswagen's; Vauxhall's and many more.

I've been coming to this car wash for over 10 years. I'm always happy with the service and the staff are polite and friendly. I have been to others in the locality, but never gone back to them. This car wash is consistent. There is a wait as its a popular car wash. There is a Greggs opposite so if you feel like you don't want to sit and wait they'll take care of your vehicle while you watch over a sausage roll and hot cuppa. I'll be back!

Highly recommended! I've been coming here for the past 10 years, and I've never been disappointed. The team always does an excellent job and pays great attention to every detail. My car always comes back spotless, inside and out, and the staff are friendly and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else and will definitely keep coming back.

My experience was average, which is why I'm giving 4 stars. The car wash itself was okay, but the waiting time was very long. There is no proper waiting area, and access to the car wash is inconvenient. I was also charged as if I had a larger vehicle, even though I didn't. After the wash, there were still streaks on the mirrors and windows. Overall, the service took much longer than I expected.

I am very disappointed with the service I received at your car wash. The board outside clearly mentioned £6.99 for a car wash, but after the wash I was charged £10 without any proper explanation. The car was also not washed properly. Staff only applied soap and did a very quick hand wash, and the overall cleaning quality was poor. I was not satisfied with the service, so I politely spoke to the manager and explained my concerns. Unfortunately, the manager did not listen and became angry during the conversation. At that time, my car window was slightly open and water was sprayed inside my car as well, which made the situation even worse. When I mentioned that I would leave feedback about my experience, manager then offered me a car air freshener, which I declined. I feel this service is misleading and not professional. I am not happy or satisfied with the overall experience.

GET ALL MY CARS WASHED HERE THEY DO A GREAT JOB EVERY TIME AND GREAT STAFF IT IS THE BEST CARWASH AROUND THEY ALWAYS GO OUT THEY WAY TO DO EXTRA BITS TO THE CAR AND THE PRICE IS GREAT FOR WAT THEY DO ALWAY GIVE THEM A TIP AS THEY ARE GREAT LADS SO PLEASE TRY IT ONCE AND YOU WILL BE BACK FOR SURE I GIVE THEM 5 STAR THE BEST

I’ve used this car wash many times and have never had any issues. They always do a top job and leave my car looking spotless inside and out. The staff are friendly, quick, and professional. Prices are fair and the service is always reliable. Highly recommend.

Okay but the balaclava guy missed a few bits - the wet works he didn't clean inside the wheels (all 4 x inside rims caked in brake dust), and the edges around the boot edges (still plenty of dirt and spider webs). I didn't pick up the work he missed till at Sainsbury's carpark as most customers sit on the car whilst the other crew do the dry works. Prewash, main wash and rinse was good. The fueling housing and flap was cleaned. Just the bits they missed. I'd take £2 off for missing the two bits lol.

I always go to this place for a decent clean at a reasonable price but yesterday once I had left I noticed that they had taken some paint off my bumper. It’s quite a costly repair and I would have hoped they would have at least mentioned the damage and apologised. Real shame.

Pretty good wash.. I only opted for the outside... They do take card but we're wanting cash... But all in all good bang for your buck

Had my car Valet Clean with Shine Hand Car Wash and they did a very good job, my car was clean and smells news actually, the shine was beautiful to see on my car, the valet price was also reasonable compared to others and also helped with my engine cleaning as well with caution. A good place to be honest
