Esso Car Wash

We checked on Internet and show the carwash operating but when we went there the washing machine was shut. They should update the info online guys.

The car wash machine is always not in service or out of order, especially during good weather times. When it is working, it doesn't clean thoroughly, even I ordered a premium wash which costed me £9! The dryer won't dry your car thoroughly as well. I would just go there for a car wash if I don't have time to do it somewhere else.

Went for my first automated car wash here and was pleasantly surprised. I opted for the full spec platinum wash. The only awkwardness is having to go inside for the code and payment otherwise it's a smooth experience. My car was well cleaned with no visible damage to old peeling rubber seal sections I have on my windscreen roof join. I didn't see any signs of swirling so whilst I would recommend a hand-wash for best and delicate results I also wouldn't be afraid of subjecting the car to the wash again and in fact will do so. It undercuts a hand-wash by about £7 but of course you don't get an internal vacuuming. You can do this yourself at a point adjacent to the exit. Overall not bad

WORLDS WORST CAR WASH! I know machine car washes are not the best, but paid for the best platinum service and all it did was scratch my car... left my car dirty with bird poo on it, and didn't even try to clean wheels, still dirty. All it does is spray water on your car and leave it wet. Staff unapologetic and found it funny. AVOID at all costs unless you like wasting money!

Car wash open but out of service like at the most BP's petrol stations in the area. Hover self service works really well ( £1 -4 minutes which is great) also staff very friendly for their customers. Busy with limit of 40 minutes parking however I recommend 👌
