IMO Car Wash

Always a great way here. Friendly service too. I've been using this wash for decades on my travels. Beware the turn in to to main wash is very tight.

I would give them less than 1 star if I could. I had taken my car to be washed and their machine pulled and snapped a trim off. The staff at the carwash itself were very helpful and completed an incident form whilst explaining the process of what will happen. Afterwards I was contacted by someone from an office via email asking for images of the "alleged" damage (their words). I provided this to which they informed me that they will discuss the matter with the employees and also review cctv footage. After a few days I was informed that they would not accept liability because it was an old vehicle and the clips holding the trim could have been brittle. As a good will gesture they were willing to offer £40. After some debating with them over this, they also claimed that their soft touch program was unable to cause the damage I reported (despite there also being swirled scratches on bonnet which were not there previously). The trim which was damaged costs approximately £430 new. Eventually they offered £90 and gave me a deadline to accept this otherwise they would withdraw their offer. Sadly I was unable to fight this any further and had no choice to accept. They will never recieve my business again. I I were you I would highly avoid.

Said they close at 6pm not 7pm like it says here. First time going here, installed the app, pre-paid and got triple foam for £7.50 (£1 off). Process was easy. Wash is not perfect but decent. Would recommend for a cheap quick wash 👍

In and out with in 12mins, £15 wash ultra hd, car is gleaming rain water just running off 7 mile journey and didn't need the wipers Excellent service

A helpful hand prep before the automated process which pulls you through the process, Would have been 5 star but the final finishing with the long dangling strips had no strips so car was left with spots all over.

Machine is broken and was not informed, right side machine not working and wipers not working

Paid £19 yesterday to have my car cleaned. Going through, I noticed the cleaning machine on the right didn't work so one side of my car didn't get washed. When the wash finished I had a look around my car and it was awful, looked so much dirtier after the wash because my car was covered with a wax. I could barely see through the windows so I had to clean them and wipe the car over to clean it. Waste of £19 and I'd not recommend this place.

UPDATE AVOIDED THIS PLACE SINCE LAST YEAR FECIDED TO GIVE IT A 2ND CHANCE AND SAME PROBLEM NOT THE ATTENDANTS FAULT !!! NEVER AGAIN Went there today when I got home I started wiping the excess water off and the car wast stinking full of dirty water marks

⭐ 1 out of 10 — Extremely Disappointing Experience This used to be one of the best automated car washes in Newport, and I’ve been using it for a long time because it was reliable, convenient, and usually did a decent job. Unfortunately, the quality has dropped so drastically that I honestly don’t recognise the place anymore. The biggest issue is that the machine simply isn’t working properly. The wash cycles feel incomplete, and the brushes don’t seem to be doing their job at all. After a full wash, my car still had visible stains, dirt patches, and marks that should have been removed easily. It looked like the car had barely been washed. For the price they charge, this is unacceptable. On top of that, the hand wash section is not being done properly anymore. What used to be a quick but thorough pre-wash has now become a rushed, careless step. They barely touch the car before sending it into the machine, which makes the final result even worse. To be honest, the Chepstow Road car wash is performing much better at the moment. At least there, the machines work consistently and the staff take the pre-wash seriously. It’s disappointing to see such a good place fall to this level. Unless they fix their equipment and improve the quality of the hand wash, I won’t be returning. Definitely a 1 out of 10 experience.

Best automatic car wash with plenty of cleaning options.

Come rain or shine, this place is open and we are always greeted with a smile. The car comes away spotless.
