Kingston Hand Car Wash

I wouldn’t even give them a star. Scratched my vehicle by stretching the vacuum hose and rubbing it against the body work. When I pointed this out they tried to use T-Cut to polish this out. When the marks didn’t polish out they tried to deny it. When I declined to pay they called up their boss who was nothing but a rude female. Accused me of wanting a free car wash and used threatening language. Why would I need a free car wash on a brand new Mercedes? They said they’ll call me back after viewing their CCTV but they never did. I was left with no choice but to pay for a service that came with damages to the car. Absolutely shocking the way threat their customers. If your vehicle is precious to you then I wouldn’t bother with this place. Take it elsewhere where they would treat your car with care. I feel sorry for the gentlemen who left a review two days ago. I can totally imagine them causing damage to his van’s paintwork and then denying it. And the threatening language to go with it all.

Appalling service and results. We got our van washed here for £25 and whatever product was used left huge drip and splash marks all over our van. Although the van is 6 years old the paint work now looks completely faded. When we called up to ask what they were going to do about it, the person I spoke to first of all told me that it was because my van was old, he then said it was because water drips out of the panels and leaves the marks, next he phoned me back and accused my wife of bringing the van to them with the streak marks already on it and that they could “prove it on CCTV”. I can say with absolute certainty the marks were not there before we took the van to them. The whole time I was speaking to him he continually cut me off to the point where I had to raise my voice and at which point he used threatening language and said I should “come down and sort it out face to face”. Finally he said he would call me back the next day and of course never did. I would highly recommend not using this car wash

One of the laziest and most overpriced, fake car wash in Kingston !!!! Avoid at all costs! In/out charged me £30 and I still saw some bird drops in my windscreen Plus inside of the car has dirt marks inside the carpets! Bunch of Jokers 🃏😡

Has this changed hands recently? It used to be good, well run and quick. Today was run by a different gang (mostly Indian rather than Eastern Europe) it was slow and totally disorganised. They seemed more interested in using their phones rather than cleaning. Also price whacked up to £30 from £25 - won’t use here again.

Paid £18 and had a terrible experience The wheels were not cleaned properly as well as parts of the bodywork Had to re do the car myself as I’m using it for a funeral tomorrow

I have been a customer of this establishment for many years, as I live in the area and this is the closest hand car wash to me. I remember when a simple outside-only wash was £8. Now it's £15. I wouldn't mind the increase if the quality stayed consistent, but sadly this is not the case. The quality went down a lot. Staff rush to do as many cars as quickly as possible. The covered area where they do jet washing is quite tight and dark, they run around your car or back and forth between cars with their lances, and I see they often hit my car and pretend like nothing happened. But the sound of an object striking your car's body is unmistakable. This while smoking of course. Cigarette in one hand, powerful lance in the other, a recipe for disaster. The car is not cleaned well, I can still see insects or resin after the job. And as others have said, it's not dried properly either, so expect water stains everywhere the moment you drive off, causing you to redo the job at home yourself. My point... I wouldn't mind the price if the job was good, but it's far from it, sadly.

Awful, don't clean properly and stole my coins in my car before.

Must be using a serious chemical truck wash as the pre wash used has damaged the paintwork clear coat with marks I can’t remove by hand. Trim on the car has also got bubbling since having the pre wash or whatever it was used. They need to use less acidic chemicals on personal cars. Also it’s not great they missed huge patches on the car to clean that aren’t even low down. Just disappointed and teaches me not to be lazy and clean the car myself. Lesson learnt…

Very unprofessional. I had marks left on my car after washing. I went there for a couple of times but all were horrible experiences. Please don't go to this place

They turned up late. Did a pretty poor job and charged me double what everyone else charges. Cowboys.

Fantastic service indeed with convenient fees and active staffs. Washed my car today & highly impressed about their perfornance. Staffs are really friendly & professional so I will highly recommend you all to visit here for car wash.

I am very pleased that on the outside, they cleaned my car super well, but the inside is a different story. The car was rushed, and it was still dirty to my standards, with dust and crumbs everywhere.

Good car wash business but have now moved to Hook (148 Hook Road)

Not sure what happened but there were concrete blocks restricting the entrance/exit yesterday. Looks like Kingston Council has shut them down. I had my car washed there frequently and never had any problems.

Very organised, but missed a part of the car, the rim around the hatch back door. Not easy to clean, but a wipe would be nice. Otherwise very good and will go again.

The car wash was okay. The guys missed a few spots, which the owner/manager picked up and got attended too however, it all seemed a bit rushed. Will I be going back? Yes, so it's not all bad. They could also sell a few cool drinks and snacks. The free airfreshners are a must and definitely add value to the whole experience.
