Only stopped for a meal passing through..everything brilliant food excellent staff ace just one moan..the toilet brush in the ladies s beyond gross please please throw n replace..

The Hollies has been a fantasy truck stop for so long it is scary, now 65 I used to go here for a meal after the pubs closed when I was 17 years old with all the other lads on out motorbikes, then also visiting regularly whilst HGV driving for 20 over twenty years it has been a familiar and welcoming venue all that time and I’m quite confident will continue to do so, it provides a vital and necessary service for lorry drivers and the general public from all around the area, a well used and welcoming truck stop.

My friends and I had a great Breakfast here recently on our way to Wales, staff were just as efficient and friendly as always. Our meal's were hot and fresh. As usual all arrived in just a few minutes of ordering which seems to be normal even when busy, great work guy's & gall's.

Très bien, bon endroit pour les chauffeurs, on mange très bien, surtout le breakfast... Les sanitaires sont très propres et le personnel très sympa, je recommande...

Arrived this evening to try and park due to a high value load being carried. Was stopped by a parking attendant who had let two in previously before me without being stopped. ‘Parking or fuel’ I was asked ? ‘Parking’ but explained I wanted to park nearer the cafe for obvious reasons and was told no I had to park at the furthest point away. I parked in a perfectly safe and sensible space for the parking attendant to walk across (at great pace) to tell me I couldn’t park here ! As others again chose to park where they desired. I tried to reason but he suggested I’d be better looking to park elsewhere so I agreed and left. He then thought amusing to repeatedly say your banned, goodbye and make child like noises as I drove off. I’d heard about this parking attendant from other drivers before saying he’s confrontational and rude but I can see what they mean now. I’ll never return again. I’ve banned myself.

Great food and the best staff ever

Stopped for food with my friend on our motorbikes - had the braised steak it was massive and really nice . Had a lovely time until my £160 heated motorbike jacket appeared to mysteriously vanish . I spoke to security & a brilliant guy called Henry & his crew used their cctv cameras investigating for over 1 hour to discover It had got stuck to me & I had dragged it to the toilet where it fell and a vile man had picked it up stuffed it in his top & took it back to his Lorry !!! Well the fantastic Security team wasn’t having none of it & got it back off him for me . Thankyou Henry & your team without your help I would have lost it to the thieving scum .

Great truckstop nice breakfast and facilities. Nice friendly staff well stocked shop will be back

Bonjour je viens souvent a cette endroit On y mange bien , côté bar pour s' hydrater 😅 Les personnels est vraiment sympa et les infrastructures sont propres merci pour votre service 😉

Can’t ask too much from this place , cheap and good and safe for parking your hgv .

Showers need big attention, lots of mould and they are really dirty 🤮

the smell is terrible

was brought here by the police after a bad car accident and waited here for hours while we waited for the tow truck. the staff were absolutely incredible, asking if we were okay and being so hospitable for the 7 hours we spent there. staff are truly incredible and deserve the world!!

Didn't stay in a room. Clean throughout, friendly staff, hot cooked food to order.

Can't beat greasy Lil's!

Have used Hollies for many years since it's upgrade and have got to say it has now gone down hill. Whilst the parking area is still in reasonable condition and accessible fuel the facilities are very tired. The showers have missing tiles where the old token machines have been ripped out, the shower head rails are hanging off, the general cleanliness is a disgrace there is more mould than grouting. If not parking for the night they charge £2.50 for the privilege of using this awful service. Did not try the food as the showers put me off. Again another SNAP location that draws in all the foreigners with parking full by 1700/1800. Once a truck stop to head for not anymore profit over service at our expense.
