Express Hand Car Wash

So so rude and upsetting. Was told it would be extra as my car was dirty? Who takes a clean car to be washed? Then it was not a great job, car interior still dirty, so I asked for a cloth and was shouted at by the guy who thinks he's boss, and told never to come back. Now I've read the other reviews saying the same. Very unpleasant experience, rude, rip off. Avoid!

Quite friendly , overall not a bad job - Had to do finishing touches when I got home - However they are A LOT better than hands-on down foundry lane !

Gdyby można było dać 0 gwiazdek to ta usługa byla tyle warta. 3 dni temu mój partner płacił za umycie priusa 24 funty. Dzisiaj ja zapłaciłam 35. Gdy spytaliśmy dlaczego, poinformowano Nas, że jego samochód był średniej wielkości a mój jest duzy🤣🤣🤣. Sprawdzaliśmy później w internecie i oba auta są klasyfikowane jako male / średnie. To jeszcze nie byłoby najgorsze. Zapłaciliśmy 35 f wg właściciela bo chcieliśmy opcje valeting. Nie była to prawda ale ok, zaplacilismy . Gdy otworzyłam bagażnik, okazało się, że odkurzone jest tylko tam gdzie była wolna przestrzeń. Pod siatką I kablem do ładowarki nie odkurzone. Gdy zwróciłam uwagę właścicielowi, zapytał, czy ja uważam, że jego pracownik będzie podnosił moje rzeczy w bagażniku żeby sprzątnąć?.... No szczerze mówiąc-tego się spodziewałam... Całe progi przy otwartych drzwiach od bagażnika pełne błota - nie umyte.. Fotele brudne . Wszystko myte jedna ściereczką. Nikomu nie polecam tej myjni I odradze wszystkim moim znajomym. Wam też odradzam. Nie dość, że właściciel decyduje czy wasz samochód jest duży czy mały to jeszcze auto ledwie muśnięte na szybko ale kasa wzięta za porządne czyszczenie. Odradzam, odradzam szczerze😒!!!!

10/10 service would 100% recommend all the low star reviews are just petty people who are just unhappy with themselves and take it out on others Such kind and wonderful people aswell

Visited yesterday 24th January 2026, was very disappointed. £40 for a mini vallet for a dacia duster. Car wasnt mini valeted. Just a hoover and a wipe over. Still had dirty down sides of seats. Outside the car had bits that had been missed. Throwing hand mits into the water bucket but using the side if the building as a back bored to get the mits into the water. Not a great experience. Certainly over charged for what they did.

Absolutely awful, as many others have said, they really do rush it and miss lots. Had an exterior only basic wash of a tiny VW Fox, expecting to pay £10 for a small car basic wash. No, they charged me £14 saying it was a medium size car, to which I laughed. I asked them what a small car was - They pointed to an Audi TT, which is bigger than the Fox. Couldn’t be bothered to argue it, never ever using them again.

Been coming here on and off for a few years with both company vehicles and personal ones and they’ve always done a decent job of each car. Annoyingly they have gone back to cash only but given you can just get cash back inside the petrol station it’s not exactly a major hassle and unlike the other “hand car wash” in Horsham these guys actually do everything by hand still so for me it’s definitely the best option in/close to Horsham

This is a genuine “hand” car wash, no machinery whatsoever, except jet washers and hoovers! Always friendly and thorough. I come at least once a week and their charges are very reasonable at £12 for a small car outside only!

The worst car wash in the UK. If you care about your car and don't want one cloth to clean the inside and outside - don't go there! Pay attention to where they get the cloths from, they don't change them when they finish washing the plastic inside, they just wipe the outside. They want to be fast but they are only imprecise. They don't care about your car. They make the dashboard with the same leather that they wipe the outside and sills with. The quality is worse than bad, the inside plastic is washed with a liquid that should ONLY be used to wash the outside of the car. So dear customer - think twice before going to this car wash! The tips you leave for the employees go entirely to the boss 🤣

Brilliant service! Super friendly team and really thorough with the clean. My car looked spotless inside and out—like new again. Quick turnaround too, and great value for money. Will definitely be back!

Didn't wash all of the car, missed bits when drying so now there are water drop marks on the windows and paint. They tried to overcharge me thinking my Zoe was a large sized car! Agree price first! Not good value for money. Poor quality.

When I was a taxi driver I would call in weekly for a clean and the work was excellent!. I always tipped!. Now I’m retired the service is terrible and the prices are extortionate!. I was charged £40 this week for a silver grade clean, (max price £33) inside and out, and the interior was still filthy and the boot space was dreadful!. I will be taking my trade elsewhere and would recommend others to do the same!.

I know there are alot of 1 star reviews. But I've never had a bad experience. Super clean inside and out. Last experience (2 weeks ago) my car was looking show room clean. Maybe because the owner been there when I've been there. The owner and I actually spoke about the low star reviews, (I was curious as I've not experienced it myself, yet people where so upset with there experience.) while he was cleaning my car. He said he had a fast turn around of staff. When ever he's found out about there rudeness he made sure there people left. Customer service and care was really important to him. But not always being there had made some things being missed. So I guess I'm lucky but the owner really wants it to be better then it's been.

The quality is poor—even when they clean the car, they show little care for it—and some of the staff members are impolite and lack customer service skills. As they were shutting a door, they pushed my seats (quick clean & bad quality). I'm never going back. Even the staff had to clean it once it dried because numerous places weren't even brushed with soap on the car body!
