Jan's Hand Car Wash

Used this car wash this morning, not happy! Wet patches inside car, dirt still on side of car, dirt on wheel alloys seats not thoroughly vacuumed, then had cheek to over charge me as a large car when it's a medium sized!! I complained but it fell on deaf ears! Too many cigarette breaks and not enough application to the job!! Won't be using again!!

The reviews here seem mixed, but my experience was positive. I only had the outside washed and despite arriving close to closing time on Sunday, they did a great job. It cost £10.

Really disappointed. Went there last week Wednesday and they rushed my car because it was nearly 6pm. Firstly, they should have said they need to go and I would have respected that. The banner outside says open until 7pm. Secondly, they washed i would not even say wash the dirt is still there. I trusted them and didnt check, my mistake. I got home and same dirt. Definitely would not recommend

This was one of the worst services I have ever paid for — poor cleaning, no attention to detail, and absolutely not worth a single penny

They are friendly and responsive with really good pace a quality of work

AVOID!!! The worst service and staff. They are rude and very selfish. Waste of money. I have been many times, never my car got washed properly. If it’s wash and go, inside or full with machine. Never they did properly. Shame!

Well, I paid for a Gold Valet and got exactly that! A thorough washing of a very dirty car, and inside and out cleaning for a bargain price! I can see the colour of my car again!

Great for the price , still some marks what I went over but easy sorted so can’t complain not a 10/10 but great for what u pay

Scratched my car and then someone hit my car when I was driving back to complain because they never even mentioned it to me. Shocking, scratched my brand new car with a vacuum or something dragging along the side of the car. Absolutely spotless bodywork and saw a scratch when I got home, from the shape of the scratch you can very clearly see it is not from a car/curb/piece of metal in the car park which they would have tried to blame it on. You can see from the photos. My car was still dirty inside and out. Never noticed until I got home and started to drive back when I saw the scratch. Didn't even bother to clean the boot, glovebox or central storage even. Still mud from my kid that I could wipe off with my hand so clearly just didn't bother to do it properly, waste of money. Looks like they shook the drivers mat and said that was good enough. On the way back to the car wash, someone drove into my car. Wouldn't have happened if I wasn't coming back. Paid £20 for them to scratch my car and then someone else hit it on the way back to complain, absolute joke. They even told me to take my time.

Took car for a inside clean and outside wash. Left the car with them which was handy whilst I popped onto the shops. After picking up and driving away could clearly see where they had not cleaned the inside window screen and top of dash board. Disappointed as I do go there to get car cleaned and this has happened before but did let it go, I think maybe leaving with them possibly an opportunity to skip out a few cleaning jobs.

Zero stars. Car had scratches when picked up which they obviously refused to take responsibility of even though I specifically pointed out the scratches that I'm already aware of before car was washed. My blutetooth music adaptor was also removed from the plug socket and thrown under the seat - it does not work properly now and keeps cutting out, tried to play a song and it cut out 4 times within 60 seconds. They will probably deny this too even though I pulled up playing music perfectly fine and had been all day. Heard a lot of bad things about this car wash before and assumed they were isolated incidents but clearly not. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Watched a local cars taxi in front of me being cleaned thought that looks pretty thorough then my turn came nowhere as much attention on mine , it was a mini valet so onto the inside all rubber mats put back in dripping wet but rest not to bad then I get home dirt round rear number plate dirt at bottom of rear bumper dirt on door handles just not good enough for the money , first and last time I go there I’m afraid

£40 wasted never even cleaned the car properly

Paid 50 quid for a t cut, I was only gone 30 min and it had been done, basically rushed the job, there was still t cut on the car not rubbed in, if they can't do a job right because they are busy don't offer the service

Jan car wash , I'll highly recommend for u peeps.

Not too bad. They do an overall good job (I did have to go over a few missed spots). I'm not too keen on the location though. The area designated for waiting (when opting for internal vac and clean) means crossing the main exit run for non-car wash users. An accident waiting to happen. Also, when busy, the queue to get a wash blocks people waiting to just get out of the car park. Daft location.
