Shell Car Wash

Bought a ticket for the car wash last week. Queue was too long and when I came back today was told the ticket was only valid on the day of purchase. Nothing to state that on the ticket or in the shop when I purchased . Staff not interested. Had enough of the lack of customer service so will be going to harpenden Rd in future.

Does its job, quite cheap

The kids love it. The few times I’ve been there has been short queues, if you find yourself behind 3 cars you’re in for at least a 30 minute wait, so keep this in mind.

I paid for a premium car wash at King William Service Station, but the wheels were not cleaned properly. When I complained, the staff were unprofessional and only gave me a bronze ticket instead of the premium wash I paid for. The ticket was valid for 7 days, but during this time the car wash wasn’t working, so I couldn’t use it. When I asked for an updated ticket, I was just told to come back when the car wash works, with no clear answer on when that would be. This is very disappointing – I paid for a premium service but received poor quality, unhelpful customer service, and no proper resolution.

Most of the time closed, apparently, the system is shutting daily for maintenance. It's a car wash, not an IT server...wasted trips to get turned around.

Good car wash, vacuum is just next to it as well. Very convenient.

I tried to buy a coffee and the cup got filled with water. An unbelievably rude person claiming to be the manger said that I should pay and threw offences. Small customer service for a company that should select more carefully the people in charge of its business.

After an hour wait it was your usual bog standard car wash did a good job but if I wasn't feeling so lazy I could have done a better job. Was the last wash of 2023

Car wash is SO SLOW! Average time per car of the cars in front of me was 12-13 mins. If you join the queue with 5 others in front of you you could easily be waiting an hour and a half to get out!

It's ok for a quick wash but unscrew your Ariel first
